>post yfw you have to watch your favorite franchise's beaten and bruised corpse dragged through the streets for everyone to piss on
Fallout
>watching the F76 battle royale announcement out of some morbid curiosity
>"We didn't want to just create a normal battle royale mode, we really wanted to preserve everything that made Fallout, Fallout."
The on-screen text that followed that claim was:
>52 players
>4 player squads
>scorch beasts
>perk cards
>build C.A.M.P.S.
>PvE
>S.P.E.C.I.A.L. perks
Kill me, Pete
Fallout didn't get good until it went 3D.
>having a favorite franchise to begin with
And yet you still hold on to it. It's about time you let it go.
>mfw my contribution to a bingo card was correct
Dead Money has a good lesson for you but I guess it flew right by your head, huh?
New Vegas did more damage than it was worth, it gave us hope that even a 3D Fallout game can be tolerable
I don't understand why everyone is so upset over this announcement. The game was bad at launch, they are actively trying to correct those mistakes while adding new worthwhile content. The new update seems like a good step in the right direction, maybe it can become a good game, not a great one, nor a good Fallout, but an enjoyable game. The br mode offers some incentive for playing, but it's just a fun thing they must have thrown together in a couple weeks for people to fuck around and hae something to do while waiting for updates.
I just want to give todd a chance.
76 is unironically fun now. It's a comfy shoot and loot. Tbqh I don't care about Fallout being raped as long as TES gets back to its roots.
He admitted he launched a trash game and sold it for money. They should have delayed that shit until it was polished or called it early access and charged less.
Yes because a fucking meme genre is EXACTLY what everyone wanted in a Fallout game.
I genuinely would not mind if battle royales just ceased to exist. The only reason these companies are shoehorning this dumb game mode into their franchises is because they saw how well Fortnite was doing and wanted to cash in on the hype. It's ridiculous.
this, even for me who dearly cares about fallouts lore its such a comfy game. i see it as i see eso, a spinoff game that just happens to be online
Agreed
It's like it's 2008 again
>he still had hope for Fallout after FO2
It's been dead since fo3 and shortly revitalized by New Vegas then killed off by 4, the attraction will slowly go away
t. 30 something boomer
>"and my favorite, nukes!"
Bethesda thinks they can win us back with DIALOGUE TREES, battle royale, and the promise of new content being dripped out. How stupid do they think we are?
They think you eat dirt and shit. So thats what they'll serve you cuz retards will eat whatever shit they put out
Games need to be finished upon release. Period. Open/closed betas are the only acceptable times for bugs to be abundantly present so that game developers can find them and fix them before the game is officially out. That's how it's always been. Companies that push unfinished games out the door like F76 only do so to get everyone hyped so that they'll buy the game without question and maximize their profits before the majority of their playerbase realize they've been cheated and profits will begin to stagnate because of it. But it's fine because they already knew that would happen and got the most money out of everyone possible before everyone found out they've been had.
it hurts
literally unironically kill yourself you worthless piece of shit subhuman mongoloid trash whore. Go to the next building you see and jump off the roof, you degenerate shit ass fag.
