I don't get the hate. I installed EGS the other week to give Dauntless a shot (it sucked) but the store/launcher itself was perfectly painless. No offensive shit, fast speeds, fast to get around, good UI, no intrusive pop-up or overlays that I saw. I don't get it because from what I read on here people made it sound like a fucking nightmare. Do I prefer to have everything on Steam? Ofcourse, I even prefer Steam to GOG, even if the latter is DRM free. But the Epic stuff is way better than what people here have said.

But thats not a big problem consoles are cheap and have a few nice exclusives, also from time to time I enjoy games where you dont need much skill and can just relax on the couch and follow a story so thats cool.
