I have 32GB. I am just obsessive about my resources. I abhor wasting system resources.

I don't mind it. After I play a game I usually look for a game I don't mind looking at forever to click on then close Steam so that's what comes up when I open Steam again. So having a home like that is just the thing I need.

Pretty fucking underwhelming right now. All you can do is buy a game pass on it, no individual games, and your Microsoft store games don't carry over. Not yet at least.

The store is currently limited to Game Pass games and their DLC though, no Forza Motorsport 7 for example.

To answer your question, I don't know if this is the final product but three styles all clash at once and it's not uniform at all. You have the:
- classic Steam bar at the top (STORE, LIBRARY, COMMUNITY, PROFILE) completely unchanged
- left side of the screen with a list format for games, annoying BIG library button, weird spacing between game icons and the window border for no reason
- right side of the screen is like the left but everything is 120% bigger: Valve didn't even bother to show games that have vertical cover arts and thus the games that have horizontal cover arts will try their best to adapt but as you can see it looks really really bad
- WHY IS EVERYTHING SO FUCKING BIG

I still have the old Xbox App. How the fuck do I update to this?

Yeah there's a lot of wasted and useless space. I don't understand why anyone would want long covers considering monitors are already vertically-challenged as it is.
I guess the idea is that you're able to fit more games horizontally to make up for it but I'm not sure if it's worth it in practice (at least on a 1080p screen).

It's meant to be a universal launcher, syncing all your games in one client regardless of what store you bought it from.
It's already been done by Playnite but that looks like shit and is made by a few dudes so this is a nicer alternative.

What part of the workshop is not functional?

I ask because right now I have 8 gigs of dual channel. I have another ram stick that is 8 gigs but it is single channel. If I put it on my mobo it will change it all to single channel. I am wondering if I just stay at dual channel or go with the 16 gigs single channel. I was thinking the dual channel even at 8 gigs will give more positive results. But I don't know for sure.
