it's a spinoff made by a different studio

People thought AK would be better

idk if it were 2013 I'd probably be mad, but doing through all of them recently it's kind of refreshing. voice acting pisses me off though

>Rocksteady still not ready to show new game.
>When they do, it'll still be a title traile with no gameplay.
>Skip a year's E3.
>Release a trailer at that E3 with a release day of Holiday of the year after next....

What a team. What is the size of this new game...

Because it's the worst one. People usually dislike things that are the worst, numbnuts.

Worst doesn't necessarily mean bad.

My biggest gripe with it was my overall complaint of the series. Too much joker. I get that he's batmans #1 villian but did he really have to be a main part of the story for all 4 damn games?

I enjoyed it well enough, no complaints.

>nice

I was fine with it because there were still a lot of villains that got to shine. Origins Joker has an unforgivably bad VA though, based on that they should have left him out until the end or something.

At least Origins' batsuit is my all-time favourite

The body armour padding makes sense and makes him look beefy as fuck. Great cowl too.

All of the characters in that game looked great, Joker especially. In Asylum and City his overall look was a bit washed out, but in Origins it's extremely clean and vibrant to give the impression that he's young and reckless.

Way better than Knight.

it's the New Vegas of the Arkham series. and a fun game.

Origins Remastered when?

Right now? Buy it on pc and crank up settings to the max.

Best boss fights in the series.

>Mustards

The Freeze DLC is absolute kino

Arkham Origins multiplayer was 10/10 and hope you guys got a chance to play it

(It might still work on the 360 and PS3 version because I've seen MP footage from 2019, but I played it mainly on PC, RIP)

Absolute unit.

I find them to be too cinematic and lacking substance.

Mr. Electricidad was a challenge.

Drops combos, a straight up copy of City in most ways, different voice actors and the story goes from pretty good to shit.
Also ruining Bane. Even more than normal.
Still good, but not as good as the rest.

No way. In what sense?

It does when the quality significantly drops compared to the other ones. Obviously it's not shovelware trash but it's shit compared to the first 2

Better Firefly and Deathstroke encounters, that's a start

BATMOBILE BAD

I'd probably play this again than ever try Knight.

I really liked it how is arkham knight?

Arkham Origins was the only one I didn't get 100% achievements on due to the faggot ass online only achievements. Every time I attempted to play I could never find enough players actually on to play it. Shit was DOA. what a waste of dev time

Which version? I just waited for sales on Steam, otherwise yeah, I couldn't play it.

Best graphics and combat, lame bosses and a lot of emphasis on the Batmobile. Also you have to get all the Riddler shit to get the true ending.
Overall mixed and divisive bag

Remind me. Was Origins the only one where playing on hard mode still gave you the Spidey-sense counter prompts?

Honestly, it's probably my favorite Batman game setting wise. It's neat to see enemies actually panicked and not knowing what the fuck is going on, legitimately afraid of Batman because they don't know who/what he is if or if he's going to kill them. Everyone treats him so fucking casually in the other games, they're so brave about fighting him. It's because they know he's never gonna pull the trigger.

City did that too.

I KNOW EVERYTHING! AND (YOU)...

It was on 360 at the time. I was playing day 1 too which was the crazy thing. Playing on Steam you could probably have better odds of finding people but fucking nobody was playing that shit. You'd find maybe 1 or 2 other people and then they'd drop because we had all been waiting for 20 minutes with no other players

It was the one with the one death hard mode.

>recycled shit up the ass, even when it doesn't make sense (the grappling gun boost)
>the worst open world map i've ever seen
>buggy as fuck
>disappointing boss fights (except for a few good ones)

It had some neat stuff, but buried under a sea of shit. City remains as the best in the series.

knights still had the prompts. I was glad asylum got rid of them on hard.

That was City. You can turn off the Spider-sense in the option in origins. That's one of the few good things it had.

You must have gotten unlucky, because I was able to play the Steam version p regularly when it kept going on $4.99 sales and the only achievement I didn't get was

>Predator Paragon
>Take down 6 different Elites in a match, using 6 different methods as Batman or Robin in multiplayer

Also maybe try it now that it works on Xbox One?

>You can turn off the Spider-sense in the option in origins. That's one of the few good things it had.

Why would you turn them off?

With them on or off, the games are still easy as hell - but why turn it off with no benefit? Like there's a reason to in AA with the Hard mode which turns it off as part of the """"challenge""""

>Why would you turn them off?

They look dumb.

I guess they were trying to be the modern Splinter Cell multiplayer (spies vs. mercs), i remember that one being moderately hyped at the time.

It seems like the Batman brand isn't a guarantee of success, even after TDK.

The only thing i liked about it was the thugs with the freezing rays, those were fun. Other than that, it was pretty mediocre. Worse Freeze boss fight than the one in City.

>I guess they were trying to be the modern Splinter Cell multiplayer (spies vs. mercs), i remember that one being moderately hyped at the time.

It was actually pretty keen though, it was mercs v mercs v spies

Being in a firefight and then being grabbed by Batman was kino

Or using a pretend firefight to bait out a hero so you can get them

Then of course you as the hero, watching from the rafters as two warring sides duke it out.

Then the horror element when the Bane gang actually got Bane and you were a joker thug, scared to death (and if Bane caught you as Batman or Robin, he'd break your back)

Joker was kind of okay, but nothing felt as badass as playing Bane

>Then of course you as the hero, watching from the rafters as two warring sides duke it out.

Forgot to mention, as the heroes, you could play pragmatically and try to help the losing side

It sounded fun. Why do you think it flopped? I wish there was a way to play it locally.

weakest was arkham knight
wtf u smoking OP
>wasting deathstroke like that
jesus h christ

>arkham knight good
yikes

>It sounded fun. Why do you think it flopped?

It wasn't a mainline Batman game - if it was in Arkham City, I think there'd be a huge playerbase.

the best trailers of all batman games.

His Origins design is trash, and his original Arkham appearance is god tier, wtf are you talking about
