It could fill in the plot hole about the Cetra race and the city they built, because that always confused me. We are told the Cetra are migratory that they travel around the planet till they die and join with the lifestream. Nomadic people do not builds citys or massive temples.
So i like to think it was the first humans who built that city. But it is never expanded on in the original game.
