Why was Majora's Mask so good?

Why was Majora's Mask so good?

Good sidequests and characters with a complete schedule and more than 3 lines of dialog made them feel alive.

it took advantage of the spooky low poly 3d

because it's kino HW incarnations of Zelda characters are garbage compared to Smash

Majorafags are the Sunshinefags of Zelda. They praise a mediocre game endlessly and feel special about it.

Ur dumb
Windwakerfags are the Sunshinefags of Zelda.

Because it was the last good 3D game before you know who took over this shitty series.

Why is this link so sexy

OoT was far superior and far more revolutionary. The only people who "prefer" MM are hipsters and contrarians.

This. Leave it to WW to hold up their unfinished POS as the series peak.

I don't think it was. It was the first Zelda game to shift focus to story and set pieces. And it got worse with each game that followed, climaxing with TP and the DS games.

The way people eat up the "Link is dead in MM" theory still makes me livid
Such rubbish

What if skullkid was a smash character? That would be cool haha

I played both since I was a kid and despite thinking OoT gets too much flak I still prefer MM for many reasons, almost all of which pertaining to the things that make it unique in the series. I tend not to gauge games on how revolutionary they are because being the first game to have a mechanic doesn't make me enjoy that mechanic more.

I am just mad that the cult stuff were never expanded upon. I mean, there were these demigods running around, built an empire, conquered surrounding areas, and then disappeared with only a couple of cheery skellies left to tell the tales. Why does it feel like every zelda game always takes place AFTER the actual interesting shit goes down?

>It was the first Zelda game to shift focus to story and set pieces
Did we play the same OoT?
Did we play the same MM?
Did we play the same alttp??

I kinda skipped it on n64 but later played it on 3ds (i only had ps1 to begin with, but i played oot on emulator in 00s) cause of the time thing, but time is more of a reminder that things will repeat rather than something that would make you rush. The only part where it was more rushed was some sidequest and the last dungeon.
This

This. Very organic world where the npcs have their own shit to do and won't just stand around for an eternity waiting for the player to start their quests.

I'll be honest I can't quite completely understand this but first of all what purpose does it even serve

Everything was great when you were just a lad.

because the reused assets and all the focus went to side quests.

Why is Link so chubby in that pic?
