I'd like to point out that while I'm not the original host, I'd be able to organize it in case he lost interest (if he is around, please contact me on the IRC channel which was used in previous tourney).
This time around we will use the Tournament function added recently, as well as share'able brackets (in form of google docs).
No matter if I'll be host or player, I'm still going to stream and commentate games.

I hope this edition will become more successful than the last, since more players will be familiarized with the rules and tournament environments.

It's basically just public friendly matches but with a few different yaku like the one that lets you call everything and actually get something if you end up with a tanki pair wait.

It's in the tournament menu. It's the only place where a bunch of "Local Yaku" can be used. Check the ? button for what those are. They're on the bottom.

All I see is tournament lobby and that leads to a bunch I can see. Only asking since I have the event mission to do melee matches.

In my country it's on 23rd of June. Besides, the games will take place around 9-10 PM GMT ownwards, to accomodate both burgerbros and european players (sorry aussies).

Depending on the number of registered players, it might turn out that we will manage to wrap things up on friday and saturday, leaving sunday free.

I still don't know how many players to expect (last time the number was around 35), so I have yet to decide if this will be single or double elimination bracket.
