I watched it in French and season 2 episode 7 (or whatever the actual castle siege episode was on) was the highlight of the show, everything else ranged from meh to alright. If the entire thing had only been the castle siege episode I would have been perfectly satisfied.

I at least hope the script received some adjustments, I only had to use them because I'm not confident with my nip and I'm still learning, but the shit I had to read on some of them was fucking unbelievable, and often redacted to sound more natural/elegant and less raunchy/witty in Japanese. Plus the VA alone is some fucking A+ work. If it wasn't for the Japanese dub I probably wouldn't have been able to appreciate the mastercraft that went into the gorgeous backgrounds or the philosophical tone of the story that, kindergartener tier script aside, is solid stuff.

For the past few E3s there's been very little revealed that has gotten me majorly hyped. Just the occasional "oh that looks interesting I might buy it on sale" games. However, since my backlog is already so big I don't really mind all that much.

Mega Man Zero is fast and fluid, ontop of some great if exploitable bosses. Then Crosscode is just a masterpiece all around; I honestly can't think of another game like it. Hyper Light Drifter is the closest but still far.

Video games are fucking cool, and people have been making them for a long time now, and some of those people got a good idea, or just raw talent. I got other shit in my life these days, but I'm no more liable to quit video games, then I am to quit reading or listening to music. Everyone needs some down time, and there's a near limitless library to explore.
