I was hoping this movie would continue to go under the radar so all the memeing zoomer "cyberpunk is night time" 'experts' wouldn't discover it and ruin it. Thanks a lot E3.

Any true Keanu fan has heard of it

Any true nerd that didn't second hand their culture after the advent of easily accessible internet has heard of it. Don't even need to be a keanu fan.

>Any true nerd that didn't second hand their culture after the advent of easily accessible internet

Go back to sleep Patton

Don't you remember one of Yea Forums's oldest rules? There's a community for everything with autistic fans in it. You'll never be the cool VIP for anything.

Is this something patton oswalt talks about? I've never seen him talk about anything true like that. Which special?

Who hasn't heard of it? It's not exactly niche.

I was born in 84 and I was literally the only person I've met that I saw it throughout elementary, high school, and college up until a few years when the cyberpunk meme began.

Ask anyone to name 5 Keanu films and this will never be one of them

He wrote an entire op-ed on how nerd culture became shit because the internet made it easy for anyone to know anything about stuff. He's not entirely wrong, but it basically boils down to "wah wah people today don't have to waste their entire lives in comic book stores and video shops to get the same level of pop culture knowledge I had".

>wah wah people today don't have to waste their entire lives in comic book stores and video shops to get the same level of pop culture knowledge I had

I would guess that's misplaced anger since he can't address what he really wants to which is corporate indoctrination and cultural misappropriation because that's not funny!!!!! (to his audience which are probably majority psuedo nerds given the state of the human race).

Unironically not wrong though.

that's only because he's in so many classics

It would have been in my 5. I'd probably think of Speed or whatever the nuclear bomb movie was called last.

>classics.
I don't think he was ever in a movie that was even truly great let alone "classic"

you dont consider bill and ted's excellent adventure a classic?

you must be really young

Never seen this film, but I have the pinball machine in my house.

I can't believe neuromancer was the first videogame every made

B&T, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Point Break, Speed, Costantine, fucking Matrix, that nigga was everywhere

Don't forget A Scanner Darkly.

>point break
>classic

Drippy little things, moving along, about a foot above the ground.

I'm 35 and own my house. I also saw b&t when it was current.
Okay, Speed and Constantine were dogshit. B&T was meh. Dracula was good, but Keanu is the worst part of the movie. Point Break was decent. And Matrix is easily his best movie... but I still wouldn't call it a classic. When's the last time you watched any of this shit besides Matrix?

>Matrix is easily his best movie... but I still wouldn't call it a classic
Matrix is unequivocally a classic lol

Point Break is one of the most classic heist films besides Heat, Rififi and Reservoir Dogs.

It's patently worse than the movies it was inspired by and more of a product of its time then anything else. It came out at a time when filmmakers weren't making shit like that, so a couple trannies ripped off GitS and Akira.

>Point Break is comparable to Reservoir Dogs.
This is some fucking reaching right here and reservoir dogs isn't a heist movie.

It is, you just don't get to see the heist itself. But literally every part of the movie involves the heist, whether the planning beforehand or the aftermath. And yes, I will compare Point Blank to it, if only because the sheer ridiculousness is entirely in line with Tarantino's usual lunacy.

I saw it in theaters with my friend in middle school and I own the VHS of it

Still a classic. Stick to frog posting you dumb bitch.

It's a shit fucking movie

It's more inspired by World on a Wire than GitS or Akira.

>Heard of it

You're a failed person
I'm from 84 as well and it's about as known as devil's advocate
