EW1 was amazing. Best horror game I've ever played. EW2 was alright, but the openworld was easily abusable, difficulty went down, voice actors changed.

Was he that displeased with TEW2? (for the record I thought that while it was weaker than TEW1 overall it had some good things about it especially in it's first act)

Mikami is not perfect but he isn't afraid to try new shit and Bethesda seems to give their teams a great amount of freedom so I'm excited to see what they show, even if its not TEW 3

TEW has higher highs and lower lows while TEW 2 is pretty consistently alright all the way through, the boss rush being an exception.

It should be known, Ikumi Nakamura wasn't pleased at all with how John Johanas handled TEW2. She was the lead designer next to Nishikawa for TEW1. Nakamura is also Mikami's protege.

I don't know why bethesda keeps trying with SP games, EW2 and the new wolfenstein kinda underperformed when it comes to sales.

No rechargeable coffee stations that give full health. Made the game too easy. Reduced ammo, health and supplies on hardest. I was literally drowning in stuff. Don't let us pause and craft during fighting, especially boss battles.

character development and story definitely was more hollywood in the 2nd installment. Being left in the dark with #1 really made you have to piece together wtf was happening. I don't think I understood the story until near the end.

TEW 1 Is better than EW2, but I will admit that the replayability of #1 was bad. Soo many cutscenes that were unskippable. It really is one of those games that are perfect just for 1 playthrough.

EW2 bored me hard. It lost that weird ‘aged’ aesthetic especially with its guns, forcing Sebastian into a feely sad dad role was sucky and inconsistent and boring, it felt easier exploiting AI, and bullet crafting is tedious as fuck (just redo what you did for EW1’s bolt crafting, fuck.)
I made it to the point in EW2 where you meet the second villian and got bored and lost interest; didn’t help that right after they introduced me to zombies but they’re on FIREEEE
