I wonder what the SSD setup is like. A SATA SSD would be a big leap for consoles and cheap, but wouldn't be near revolutionary. Since they're using Zen2, they have PCIEgen4, which means they could get insane transfer rates with NVMe drives, but those are much more expensive. Curious to see what they did.

Yeah, user, that's great and all but there's no way that they'll use anything bigger than a 240GB SSD on a console, the SSDs will start burning away capacity real quick due to AAAs getting bigger and more bloated. I sincerely doubt any launch Xbox Scarlet will still be usable at the end of the gen if regularly used.

Well, Zen2 has a 15% IPC uplift compared to Zen+, so apples to apples the 8 core in the Xbox is 15% "better" than your 8 core, but you have to consider it's probably clocked like shit. We really have no idea how much better Navi, and specifically the GPU the Xbox is using, is. Will probanly have equivalent RAM.
