As long as it's not jumpscare bottleneck hallway like Outlast with zero actual horror, it'll be better than what is most popular in the genre.

i remember it playing somewhat like silent hill. Third person action horror with some puzzle solving. I thought it was good and spooky when I was a kid.

Might be cool if it actually features some puzzles and shit. So far it looks like an Outlast clone with mostly scripted scares so we'll see.

Yes, everyone thought it was a new Outlast. Looks like you are playing as a detective that is looking for some kid lost in the Blair woods.

Unfortunately blair witch died for me when it showed things. This game looks like it still treats the shitty new movie as canon so I have no interest, the makers of that movie didn't understand the point of the original movie at all

Not that I disagree with the movie being shit but it's pretty hard to carry an 8 hour game without showing literally anything. Hearing sounds and seeing stone piles becomes boring after like 30 minutes in a video game.

Damnit. You've just revealed something to me that I didn't want to know. I'm only familiar with the first movie. Now I'll need to actively avoid whatever the rest is.
