god that piece of shit looks so tacky
still used it a lot though
It's just the giant version of a real weapon
>simple design with an ornate pattern
>tacky
If a game doesn't let me use pic related viably, then I'm usually not interested. In Dark Souls' case, I'll let it slide because of the BSS.
Ornate can be tacky, user.
nah, compared to that most weapons are way simpler
>that weird add-on on the handle
>that fat fucking metal slab on about 75% of the blade just to have a decoration
>that even fatter spike that's never used
looks unwieldy as all hell
yeah, that's why it had the inhuman strength requirements
Zwei
the sawed off shotgun in blood is great
For me, it's the Reiterpallasch, the sexiest rapier in vidya history
andy sixx poster
boring lad
chronic masturbator
sun worshipper
fag
I love my FUGS
For me, it's the original greatsword along with black iron armor tbqh
size queen
based
PtDE: Great Scythe
DkS2: Ladle
DkS3: Black Knight Sword
I just want a game with a proper falcata.
Probably a parade weapon, but not infeasible for a nobleman.
>bitching about real, functional designs without even knowing what the parts are for
Will probably never see her again besides ds3 :_:
this was so op I never changed weapons again
The one you posted is a parade weapon but the ones like the black knight halberd were used in war
>her
GOOKMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT
It sucks that they kept making it bigger in later games -- that felt like just about the right size for a "real-world" greatsword that would push the limits of what someone could feasibly use.
BKH is the absolute patrician's weapon of choice
11/10 OP
There will always be plenty of ugly rock slab on a stick type weapons in Miyazaki games
your picture looks nothing like the bkh
even this one looks to be about half the weight of the in-game fat-ass version
There are tons of "real world" greatswords in the game and the Zweihander is the absolute biggest you can get IRL.
This one is a slightly less shitty version of the Dark Souls II one
For me the DS2 one was the sweet spot. Played and looked amazingly.
This is a weaponfu thread, not a weaponbando
I don't like the aesthetics that much, but the moveset and weapon art was great
Black knight halberd is just a giant version of the second blade in the pic
these guys fuck
If a game lets me wield one that's my weapon
I wish the untricked form had its sheath on and was used like a spear
no?
the in-game one is not a single piece, it's a giant slab going over the blade on both sides making it look horrible and fat, instead of sleek and deadly
Literally looks like mall ninja shit.
>even this one looks to be about half the weight of the in-game fat-ass version
They were used by huge knights fighting dragons, so it being double the weight is not much of a problem.
Demon’s Souls: Claymore
Dark Souls: Claymore
Dark Souls II: Claymore
Dark Souls III: Claymore
I do use other weapons, but it’s always my go-to for my first build/playthrough.
Hiroshima...
King Cerberus is cool too, but you gotta respect the classics.
I know, but BLADE weapons looking like fat slabs makes them seem non-functional
Gonna cut some dragon skin with that dull kitchen utensil?
>size queen
but considers FUGS based when it's bigger...
I hated that man, I just want my original greatsword which is why I replay dks1 to use it again
size king
the most stylish
A thin weapon would t make much sense, as dragons have stone scales
Awful weapon for the beginning of the game but once you upgrade it it becomes a gem
Based weapon, got me through the whole game
and a fat one does?
at that point it's just up to how hard you're swinging, since you're not even wielding a quality weapon, just a big bat
killed the first black knight with poison arrows at the start
this little hit n run oversized toothpick got me through everything
>R2 takes three years to hit
not using the running attack and then running away to do it again as it's comparable to heavier attacks but stops you from being exposed and slow
