The best and most charming part of BK is spiral mountain. With a brief return to that feeling for Click Clock Wood. The rest of the game is a boring platformer with boring worlds that is nothing special

Most of the people at Rare are new people that had nothing to do with Banjo and were just put there by Microsoft. A lot of the original guard that made Banjo left Rare a long time ago; some formed Playtonic Games, and others went to Retro. It's complicated.

Clanker's Cavern and Bubble Gloop Swamp are pretty cool.

I actually really like how Banjo plays on the Xbone controller so I hope it gets something.

It's possible, but improbable.
Best case scenario is a remaster similar to Spyro and Crash.
Most likely scenario is that they'll just release some merch to nostalgiabait people to make some money.
Worst case is nothing and you've all been bamboozled again

those two levels have a sort of down to earth, campy atmosphere that sort of contrasts well with mario 64's more general worlds.

Part of me thinks its really just Smash and theres no new game.

Which would be disappointing if that was the case, it's greedy to say but I want both, but a new game that was actually good and a soulful return to form would be even better.

keep yourself humble and expect a no, if you sit through it jiggling about with pre in your undies expecting new banjo then that's your fault if you get upset. I go into E3 with a list of what i'd like to see, but never generally expect it. It keeps me sane, like how i wanted but never expected crash remake and yet here i am with a trilogy out and CTR around the corner. patience is rewarded
