I think they should remaster 2 for Switch and Steam. Hell, remaster OG Burst as well (probably not likely due to Burst Re;Newal being a thing) and sell them both as a 2 for 1 deal. Call it the Senran Kagura Origins collection.

Especially considering the potential for local multiplayer co-op. On Wii U it could have been one player on the TV and one on the gamepad, but they can still pull it off on Switch using two joycons and pulling the screen back. They can even throw in the HD rumble from Reflextions when performing costume destruction.

As hard as it is for people to believe, the series wasn't just wanton fanservice. It actually had a serviceable plot with fanservice moments mixed with more serious moments.

There were quite a few interesting arcs in 2 like Murasame helping bridge the gap between Ikaruga and Yomi or that dilemma with Kat on if she should obey the higher-ups orders to kill Kagura so she could get a high enough rank to pardon her parents.

I really don't have a problem with her being a bonus playable character.

I'd just love to see 2 remastered because they put a lot of heart and soul into that game, so I think it would be good to show it off rather than it falling by the waste-side.

Plus I think it would be a good chance for them to do all of the stuff they were planning to do with 2 but couldn't (more than likely due to time constraints) like have Naraku and Kagura as playable characters (someone datamined it some time after release and saw some unused assests).

Not to mention that 2 looked damn good for a 3DS game so imagine what it would look like in 1080p or even 720p

I honestly don't understand why he's leaving, he has alternative options, in Japan the switch is a profitable platform despite sony's global dominance, he could release pc versions abroad (or now) for freedom, and many other devs are releasing switch/ps4 games that allow for both profit and an escape from censorship

I don't know how much horsepower 7 may need but to rely on the ps4 will only hurt his vision, while its probable (eventually) all platforms may adopt these stances but there are still devs who self publish stuff, that and the mobile market can help ease the pain.

He should be fighting and leading the charge against sony, something has happened to him and we'll never get the answer until his leave is complete (provided he breaks a few japanese stereotypes in how they operate in a business sense)

I think the thing with 7 is it may be under contract to remain a Sony exclusive (at least for a while) and the suits at Marvelous may not want to switch platforms if the PS4 is still profitable.
