Any other games where you can do this sort of dumb shit?

>a landmine blows up your legs
>pray to the gods
>they give you new legs made out of bananas
some time later
>run out of food and slowly starve
>decide to eat my legs as I have no other choice
sometimes you've gotta do what you've gotta do

>look up this game
>$21 wtf
>looks like a drawf fortress rip off too

who buys this trash?

>he doesn't know

Go back to Fortnite, zoomer. Its only similarity to Dorf Fort is the grid and roguelike shit, which isn't even Dorf Fort's main focus.

Are you sure that just not your simple mind being unable to grapple with the sheer greatness this game is?

$21

for this crap

well go ahead and explain why this game that op probably deved here themselves in the amatuer game dev thread, and looks like a shitty pile of shit that should be worth $1, is on sale for $21

Honestly it looks good, i'd buy it for $6 right now. that should be the price, $6

>pshhh i'd play your game if it were free
poorfags pretending they just have high standards

Thought the same when I first bought it, however, the game is far more deep and complex than obviously what you're used to. Cope harder, the free to play section is just down the aisle.

>comment had me convinced until "cope harder" good job.

When was the last time this was updated? Played through it about half a year ago and it was fun but somewhat repetitive.

better than $60 for AAA garbage

No idea, the game is amazing but devs are clearly a bunch of niggers. I mean it's been years and it's still in early access.

well yeah but that doesnt change that $21 seems too much for this.

I'll tell you what, if every indy game was $20 minimum by law, i'd buy this, and the industry would be healthier, and bullshit games wouldnt sell.

user the industry expert.
Kys nigger.

how do they code? its amazing that they can code and do basketball so well.

usually has weekly updates

us niggers run the industry, whitey. learn to code if you can!

How often do they give content updates?
I just scrolled the update history and it's pretty much all QOL/bugfixes.

the gripe with this game is that 70 - 80 of players don't get past the first dungeon becasue of the permadeath mechanic.

I really want to like this game but the combat feels very dull outside of very occasional cases.

It does so much right that I really like, but fuck, combat is 99% bump to kill. I know this is the case for a lot of roguelikes but it still bothers me.

Play as a mutant and get a bunch of psychic mutations. Make sure to bump up Ego.

Mental abilities, Flaming hands, Beguiling, Pyrokenisis, light manipulation and menacing stare is always fun

aside from that, a gunslinger build investing SP into short blade skill is good for early players.

I've done that and it helps, but there's still something missing. I don't know, maybe I just wish combat was less common but much more difficult when it actually does happen.

Everything else about the game is almost perfect.

>>$21 wtf
What? Isn't it free? What did I download?

It is. The Steam version is basically just a way to donate to them and have it on your account.

There's a free version of the game that is basically just a 5+ year old version of it.

So it's inferior?
