Don't get me wrong bro, I think Sylux has great smash potential, it's just that compared to, say, Doomguy and other third party characters, he's unhype to the general audience.

I agree with you, but I hope he won't be the last reveal if he ever gets in. Because that would bring him on the same level than Corrin, and people would start claiming that Metroid has too much characters for what it is.
I want him but at the same time it's certain we don't need him. Though if he is added I won't care anymore what other people think about him.

I'm a massive Metroidfag, but I don't want Sylux in until we finally see what Prime 4 does with him.

On the bright side, if Sylux is in, hopefully his moveset is unique enough that people warm up to him over time.
