Wow I really can't wait for this, to get lost in this world. Will this be the standard edition? Is this the most promising game developer without strings attached as of now? I guess we'll see. Is there any chance this game will be bad? What do you think? 1. It will live up to expectations. 2. It will be good but not as good as people expect. 3. It will surpass expectations. 4. It will be bad.
Any other predictions/expectations? Let's rejoice in excitement Yea Forums!
CD project aren't good at game design, honestly. From what I've seen so far Cyberpunk looks like a standard AAA game. It will receive 10s but it's more like a 5/10
Angel Bailey
i like it to be honest, beats the blue/orange mix.
Caleb Evans
>over 100 GOTY awards >not even out yet
Kayden Cooper
They recently made the best game of all time. I doubt they're capable of making anything lower than a 9g
Landon Hill
If the Witcher series are any indication, they're progressively losing their souls and dumbing down their games to reach more casuals. It is possible that this game will reach the GTA level of casualization, which means it will be utter crap but still sell like hotcakes among the casual segment of the population.
Evan Hill
it turned into an AAA shit stain. It even went with the corporate model of multiple versions. Fuck cdprojectred. Witcher series was shit that normies are up anyway.
Joseph Cooper
cover art is shit, generic white dude with gun and fucking YELLOW BACKGROUND? what the fuck were they thinking
I think it's trying too hard to be AAA but will be the standard CDPR fare so GTA normalfags will be turned off by it, they should have been advertising it as a DEEP AND COMPLEX RPG like they did with the Witcher.
Matthew Hall
Elden rings will dab on it this E3
Eli Martin
I don't mind the yellow, it's the fucking protagonist holding a gun looking to the side that is lame as fuck. Why don't we ever get creative box art anymore?
Andrew Adams
>Why don't we ever get creative box art anymore? I've been thinking about that as well. Some games have great covers like BotW. Others just seem extremely lazy and they just gave it to some intern. Any big game should have a great cover in my opinion
Jack Howard
>standard AAA I think it's a pretty safe bet that that isn;t going to be the cover, because they make a big deal out of customisation of the main protag.
We'll probably get something more general as the cover. I mean why include a generic looking guy on the cover if you;re not going to see him in the game anyways?
it's pretty sure to be a fake cover if you ask me >9/11
Matthew Davis
Modern video game industry is soulless, it's not a meme. You should see some of the mental gymnastics people are using to explain why it's perfectly OK to have uncreative box art.
Daniel Robinson
Because they think that if there isn't a gruff looking guy holding a gun, it won't sell. I refuse to believe it's the final art though. The yellow looks like dogshit. Witcher 3 had a nice minimal cover with the white background but this looks like a lazy photoshop crop with the logo barely readable on top of V.
Kayden Thompson
Game covers are made to appeal to walk-in customers. Those are people who go to shops to discover games to buy. The publisher wants the widest net of appeal with the cover, which is currently dude with gun coming at you on a clear background. The people who already know about cp77 are not the target audience, because they will buy the game regardless. Just hope for a flip cover.
Joseph Carter
TW3 got over 250.
Brayden Flores
>Because they think that if there isn't a gruff looking guy holding a gun, it won't sell.
So do I but even Witcher 3 was just Geralt looking rough while holding his sword.
William Campbell
Because covers like that sell the most, it isn't designed for you to like but for boomers who pick games for kids/nephews/themselves in walmart based solely on cover
Connor Morgan
Blatant shill is too blatant
Juan Lopez
One day, I'll wave the sun to ice and watch its kind get thrown like rice.
Does someone have the cover an user made yesterday? It had a screenshot of the dude you pull a gun on from the gameplay, the logo on its side, it looked fucking great.
