There is a point where a player has to decide whether to stop playing or start going for fflogs. Most people don't want to stop playing so the only thing that's left for someone that enjoys raiding the most is to start going for better parses or faster kills. Optimizing is really the only fun thing left for me in this game.

Creator was the last tier that kept people involved for a long period of time since the fights themselves had so much optimization and people hadn't figured out lb cheesing yet.

The core issue of MNK is that it has no distinct identity anymore and tries to do multiple things while not doing any of them in a fulfilling or fun way. This leads to the devs constantly changing how MNK should be when the answer was obvious from the start. Positional-focused, high risk/high reward job.

With the new addition of four-pointed strike, I think that combos for MNK are in as good of a spot as they'll be. One of the only good changes about 5.0 MNK, and I wouldn't see it changed.

Fists of Earth needs an entire rework, it is never used and will never be used for another two years. With MNK being a positional job, each stance should only reward the player for correctly hitting positionals instead of being flat boosts, this also encourages players to play MNK correctly and ease them in to the playstyle as they level.
>Chakra changes
This needs to go. MNK relies the most on RNG in 5.0, not only more than ever but more than every other job as well. Chakras should be rewarded for hitting positonals and not a 70% chance only 15% of the time. Especially since Forbidden Chakra is now on a 1 second CD, they want it to be the players primary oGCD and why they removed Howling Fist and Steel Peak.
>Tornado Kick
Needs to go, the devs dont want Greased Lightning to be used as a resource and as such, shouldn't include a skill that uses it like a resource. With the introduction of Six-Sided Strike, TK is a worthless skill anyways.

Riddle of Fire needs it's speed penalty removed, find a better alternative that doesn't fuck over players like locking out oGCDs during RoF's duration. RoE needs a rework to line it up with FoE new theme. RoW should be an oGCD and not a passive. I'm ok with GL4 only being available in FoW, but RoW needs a better identity.
