No. They are dead to me.
Yes, I'm ready to ignore it.
THESE ARE NOT THE RESPONSES I ANTICIPATED
Todd is going to fuck up the Elder Scrolls franchise and i'm going to watch it burn
Bump
I believe Skyrim is an underwhelming game, therefore I will not buy it. Thank you
I am. I expect the entire conference to be thinly-veiled damage control, and it's going to be fucking hilarious.
I'm looking forward to the moment when everyone thinks Elder Scrolls 6 is going to be mentioned and Todd instead unveils Fallout 77
I just hope Todd shows up
Announcing Fallout 76 in a state good enough to be called a regular buggy Bethesda release instead of a catastrophic one.
Even two months after Bethesda confirmed neither TES6 nor Starfield will be there, some idiots STILL BELIEVE otherwise.
It's pathetic.
Only hoping elders scroll 6
Sorry guys.
“It’s going to be a long time,” Bethesda’s Todd Howard said during a recent presentation at PAX. “It’s not something we’re going to be talking about at E3 — either of those games — this year. And so patience, please.”
This year again
youtube.com
Todd won't be there this year. He is reserved for the big announcements, and they've already confirmed that their biggest projects will not be featured on the show floor this year. So get ready for that faggot Pete Hines to host their show.
if a 6, Todd will announce a rushed game again.
(bonus point if it has a 7 before said 6)
2019... I am forgotten.
>tfw I forgot that Todd called me a degenerate
lmao idiot
Will you apologies though Tod?
>Todd is a swear word in Elder Scrolls canon
Deepest lore
Will they not say something about Starfield?
Spell my name first and Ill consider it you pleb
lmao another idiot
Ready for disappointment.
I'll probably be sleeping though.
?
>Toddy here
>yeah, 76 didn't exactly go as planned. how crazy is that
>please laugh, we're paying you to laugh
>umm, so here's Doom Eternal. You like Doom
>annnnd, here's some concept art for Stelaris and the new ES
>now please watch this 5 minute commercial for our phone game with awful monetization
Cant wait for my toddposting to start again.
Todd keeps lying to me. I'm not listening to Todd anymore.
No, I shall be at work when the fun happens.
Fuck off toad
You’re in for a rude awakening pal
In the shitty mobile game, Todd triggers the swear filter.
This has to be fake
download it and find for yourself
Why the fuck would it be? Of course Todd's aware of how much a meme he is and would prevent people from using his name.
Rather not pay the MTX fee to use the keyboard.
I fucking finally caved in and bought TESV. Are you fucking happy now, Todd?
>pete hines
i unironically wish he'd get in a car accident on the way to e3 and fuck off, same with emil. bethesda is too fucking autistic to fire them.
Todd always wins
sauce?
>didn't instead play daggerfall completely for free using dfunity
>didn't buy morrowind and mod the visuals
>didn't buy oblivion and fucking overhaul the entire game
i could kind of understand oblivion, nostalgia goggles make overlooking a lot of that game's garbage easy, but come the fuck on user you had such great options available and you chose the watered down beverage, why
Don't forget to learn the lyrics if you forgot any:

No, I'm going to be asleep since your conference is shitty us time.
And unless the corporation you work for announces a Quake Champions rerelease i'm going to miss it all and not give a damn todd old boy.
You hope someone gets seriously injured because they dont make video games the way you want them?
Oui, chad Todd
>didn't buy oblivion/morrowind and fucking overhaul the entire game.
I played Oblivion / morrowind back when they came out and finished them both 2-3 times each.
Plus I have already downloaded 10+ gigs of mods for skyrim so that I can make the game at least a bit enjoyable because after playing Vanilla, I fully understand why people were bitching about the game.
Welcome to Yea Forums
Theres lots of nepotism at bethesda and bethesda game studios. Its why tes games are so shitty still. Todd keeps his old college buds employed and at senior lead positions on the dev teams.
I hope what you said about hines becomes true.
Ignore , Skyrim is pretty fun. I haven't played Morrowind yet, and I prefer Oblivion but Skyrim is fun
>haven't played most of the series
>think you're entitled to an opinion
What a grand and intoxicating innocence!
haha die
Yes, I do. I hope they get injured because they're contributing to the downfall of an entire industry. I value their life less than I value the entire video game industry, just like I'm sure there are people who wouldn't mind a single artist who's one of the biggest contributors to shit art being made dying if it meant potentially helping that industry.
Skyrim is pretty fun but the older games felt a lot more fun, even if purely just for how much you could fuck around in them. Skyrim feels very restricted, which means it's more of an uhmersiff experience, but it trades out the whackier and flat out fun as fuck shit you could do in the old games.
Daggerfall is just a totally different beast than the other TES games and is more like lite simulator in a fantasy universe, desu.
But Pete Hines doesn't make games. He's just the PR guy.
>Implying theirs more then 3 TES games worth playing
im s-sorry tod
>implying there's as many as 3
That's exactly right. Those three are Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion. :)
I was being kind to faggots who think Morrowind holds up.
>sword singing charges up through combat and hits harder than mini nukes
>equipment durability is brought back with locational damage like Fallout 4 power armor and Rage 2
>power attacks do a lot of durability damage, even to shields and weapons
>enchantments no longer have a charge and will work as long as the weapon does
>potion mixing is replaced with recipes with set results such as "Potion of Minor Healing"
>a 'grenade' slot from which to throw dangerous alchemical concoctions and throwing weapons such as javelins
>there are Memory Stones as used by Makela Leki. They will work like audio logs
>magicka and stamina are now combined
>repeating crossbows will allow you to fire multiple bolts before having to reload
>merchants now have unlimited gold
Here's hoping.
Skyrim is not RPG, it's action adventure with really shitty combat. And all the fun is in collecting icons and "words", like in cheap mobile game.
>>magicka and stamina are now combined
Why?
>Dishonored but set in Hammerfell
>fully functional combat system
>semi-functional stealth mechanics
>scaled-down world, handcrafted smaller maps instead of dogshit, shallow open world garbage
Hot take: I'd be fine with Bethesda's attempts at """streamlining""" the RPG mechanics if they actually went all the way with it and made a fun action or immersive sim game, instead of whatever the fuck Fallout 4 was supposed to be.
>tfw I can see this all happening
hoe did we end up in this timeline?
>enchantments no longer have a charge
retarded, takes out a big part of conjuration. They should instead expand on the charge system and bring back very slow, passive recharge (up to 25%) so that resting for a few in-game hours is the answer to a completely dead weapon. Add in shit like overcharging enchants for the next few hits that is like the enchanter's version of poisoning a blade, expand on enchantment system with more unique effects rather than "LOL DO THIS DAMAGE" or "LOL APPLY THIS EFFECT FOR X SECONDS"
>potion mixing is replaced with recipes with set results such as "Potion of Minor Healing"
again, expand on the system, don't gut it. Alchemy is busted as shit and needs balancing, as well as a much nicer UI and tutorial to explain it to retarded zoomers. Expand on available ingredients in the world, add a codex style thing to the game that has descriptions that would allow a non-alchemist to sort of guess as to what they might be used for.
>magicka and stamina are now combined
holy shit this is easily one of the worst ideas for tes i've ever seen, fucking god no
>merchants now have unlimited gold
also terrible, bring back mercantile and completely revamp loot economy. Selling an unfitted piece of dented, dirty ass bandit armor should be less valuable than selling a gemstone. Bring back banking systems, housing and ships since it's set in high rock/hammerfell. Add very light weight to gold to incentivize these.
Rest of those ideas are pretty fokn good though user, but those couple ideas alone make me think you're an ADHD zoomer who can't into thinking in bideo bame.
>enchantment system with more unique effects
This'd be fucking awesome, imagine the possibilities.
>1h weapons can be enchanted to have the power attacks become ranged by throwing them out like boomerangs or having elemental cascades
>shotgun arrows, bouncing arrows, piercing arrows
I'd be so down for that, just hope they actually balance it out. I personally think one of the biggest issues with TES was upgrades/progression was way too much "+X%" type shit. The perks were the best example I think. Should've left raw damage/number upgrades to the SKILL, not the perks. Perks should effect how you use that particular skill, possibly even having some that provide a positive and a negative. Rename them to Traits.
Do something similar with enchantments. Plenty of (much weaker than in any other TES game) damage/status effect enchantments, mostly meant to provide a way of accessing elemental damage or abusing status weaknesses against monsters for non-casters or to provide some extra flexibility for a very focused build, then adding a shitload of super unique effects that add either more options to the weapon, or change how it plays entirely. Bonus points if different weapon types responded differently to enchantments, IE a fire enchanted dagger is a steel stabbing stick that can cauterize wounds and apply a debuff from the pain of that, whereas a fire enchanted staff can whack shit and cause a fiery burst that's not quite as useful, but can switch modes into being more like Skyrim staves that shoot projectiles.
It's sad that it's more fun to imagine what could've then play what currently is, and it's even sadder that they're probably going to go the exact opposite direction of more depth for TES6. :(
Yeah Skyrim perks were a mess.
>tfw the most useful perk for each weapon class is the first one
>it's just flat double damage
>they couldn't even code the basic fucking crit perks to be useful
You’ve got it mixed up, friend. There are two, and their names are Daggerfall and Morrowind. Not my fault you give up on a game after less than 30 minutes.
Yes, but only because I’m gonna livestream to shitpost the conference with my podcast buddies because Bethesda is guaranteed garbage.
Also I did not buy Skyrim and I never will.
When is it and where do you watch it?
12 hours and 20 minutes form now.
twitch.tv
he wont be there
stop memeing
only watching for mikamis new game
Other user got you covered but you may want to bookmark this just in case.
e3countdown.com
>i want a linear non-open TES
the absolute state. not all open world games are cancer
I'd skip it if it didn't include Doom Eternal and more ESO content.
What will they even show outside of that?
>1h weapons can be enchanted to have the power attacks become ranged by throwing them out like boomerangs
There's already a sword in Skyrim that shoots blasts as a power attack. I'd like if you could have active effects on shields.
Made a shield in Morrowind with a spell of 100% reflect for 2 seconds. Would rather it be activated like a shield bash instead of having to cast it as a spell.
It looks like bait but some retards would probably unironically want this.
>Made a shield in Morrowind with a spell of 100% reflect for 2 seconds. Would rather it be activated like a shield bash instead of having to cast it as a spell.
Doesn't Auriel's Shield do something similar?
I was thinking more along the lines of a spell parry.
Heck, I'd like it if they brought back the Reflect spell but you need to time it, not just wear the effect.
So what the fuck are they going to show? that shitty wolfenstein vr thing?
