yeah I know, I ain't disagreeing or the guy who said his pro-consumer. Seems to be the way for almost all of the "pro-consumer" voices around gaming they all cry it's for the player until they want something to change for there personal agenda.

This is going to sound really dickish, but I really don't care how the workers are treated. I mean I certainly don't want them to get fucked over either but that's not really my problem. As a consumer my only responsibility is to buy what I feel is the best value and product regardless of how it is made. I really don't think unions will result in a better product and if the people don't want to work in these conditions then they can either make their own games on their own conditions or get a job elsewhere.

I actually liked these videos, some of them were pretty droll, like the New York Bus simulator one.

Jim Sterling has adopted this awful mannerism, whereby he'll read a quote from a triple AAA (Read that in his stupid voice), in a high pitched, weaselly tone, as if that solidifes any element of his argument. Whereas, in fact, it just makes him sound like a complete douchebag, quite like the ones he's criticising. This tendency was always kind of there in Sterling's content, but it's become so pronounced in his videos since the Konami-Silent Hills debacle, that it's genuinely made him seem even more obnoxious than his early 90's toy collecting, fat fuck, big gay old persona naturally is.

It's not surprising that the drop in general quality of his channel has arrived in tandem with low-effort, click-bait headline thumbnails. Soon enough he'll be pulling silly/shocked/dick sucking faces for them too. I guess the pressure from the million other channels who exist to do the exact same mundane, rote, repetitive thing (durr lootbawckxes), just got to him.
