At least Omega justifies his existence and his occurrences... in the rare times he comes back that is.

There's no boost mechanic, it plays like Adventure games except you occasionally have to switch to Tails and Knuckles to use some gimmicks.

It sucks that you have to beat the game literally 4 times (with all teams which are all just reskins of each other and have literally identical powers) to unlock the final chapter.

It's kind of different from regular sonic gameplay but not really boost-like, it's its own thing. It's worth a try if you're a 3D sonic fan but be warned that it's the buggiest/most broken of the Adventure era games, there are some points where you have to actively fight the physics of the game in order to get some things to work as intended. Also the final boss is pretty good

SA2 is one of generation defining games for people in their mid 20's. There's a reason why every AGDQ whenever the faker cutscene shows up everybody starts to voice the lines

I unironically love Death Chamber. I love all of SA2 Hunting stages with the exception of Security Hall. It's just so bland and featureless and exploring isn't very rewarding.
