Why was 2 so shit?
Is Hotline Miami dating sim out yet?
Nothing personal
The game becomes too easy with this weapon
Beard levels, probably. Also the overabundance of windows.
Detective Pardo is a great officer and very handsome
aw man, what a joke that became
If we're talking about Midnight Animal,
off the top of my head, the dude no longer had any drive to make it a fan sequel to hotline miami and changed it entirely to more resemble anime visual novels and he mentioned taking inspiration from the persona series.
Naturally since literally everyone who took an interest in the project wanted it to be about hotline miami, this tone shift was a bit surprising.
and the guy just canned it entirely...
The demo for it was pretty sick as well, so a shame to see that happen.
He wrote a big embarrassing message on what happened, that'll explain it better than me
im one of the few that thought 2 was better than 1
I’m with you on this
>you will never go back to the glory days of HM threads
I have a folder of stuff I will never get to post again
*rend le jeu français*
Did you guys play Katana ZERO?
it was better than HM1 though
>Henchman's death
>Tony holding Corey's head before Pardo walks in and kills him
>It's on the house
>Any scene with Richter and his mom
>Good times never last
>the table scene
What a game.
It had some real fuckin feels, that's for sure
2 had worse level design but tighter gameplay, the story in 1 is great but 2 has multiple interlooping stories which are mostly all great, I really love rat boy richter he deserved a happy ending.
And he got it
Nuclear annihilation is probably the happiest ending any of the characters could have gotten
>realizing Martin Brown's scenes were intentionally more flashy and sensationalist movie interpretations of the first game's events
>Decadence -> Decade Dance
>Midnight Animal
Never forgetti
This is the sort of shit that makes me think the simulation is breaking down
It wasn't, noob
whaaaaaat
Heavy storyline focus
>never forgetti
I throw up spagetti
Honestly, I liked both.
I liked 1's gameplay more,
but I enjoyed how 2 had a lot of story stuff to it.
Sit your ass down user this is gonna be a trip
>Hotline Miami was supposed to be the end of the story
>Fans wanted more so a modder began making custom maps and announced a fan game continuation
>Story was supposed to take place in an occupied America in the future after the bombs dropped
>Mod announcement got a lot of hype and even got the blessings of the original creators
>Modder broke up with his girlfriend
>Absolutely broke him
>Ended up completely changing the story and aesthetics of the mod
>Complete ripoff of persona with social links and super powered masks called "Mementos"
>Art was also traced from P4 and 5
>Modder gets called out and his friends go on the defensive
>Modder decides to kill the public release and only give out the game to friends
If anyone else has more details feel free to add
Fuck Weebs
the cam was too zoomed in
Who was best HM2 character and why was it Corey
Went on for too long and put more focus on firearms then melee weapons. Also, choice in masks was limited on a lot of the levels.
I played a bit at my friend's house. If it comes to PS4 I'll definitely get it.
How the fuck do I beat the first floor of House Call on hard mode, I've been stuck there for like a day
It focused on having a more interesting and complex plot but simultaneously delivered it in an incredibly confusing and frustrating fashion
bait the guys in the room directly in front of you, grab a gun from the middle room and then go around the left slowly picking off the rest
have fun on the second floor, it's much worse, make sure you bring something automatic with you
>have fun on the second floor, it's much worse, make sure you bring something automatic with you
Fuuuuuuuuuuck, thanks anyways
Because long dark hair is the best.
First floor you walk in knock a guy down kill the other and then wait at the door. Delay the execution of the third guy by a second if you want to keep the combo.
Then go into the room just as the gunman in the glass room passes by. It's tricky but you should be able to take down the patrolling gunman and the gunman in the middle in one swing. Grab a gun shoot the fat man coming to you and the gunman in the glass-room turn around and kill whoever heard the shots then its easy to take out the last few guys standing on their own.
Second floor you want to run into the bathroom kill the guy with the gun there and use it to take out the two fat men who will be chasing you. Its really tricky
The Son. Loved that fucking madman.
That ain't Ritcher
>Second floor you want to run into the bathroom kill the guy with the gun there and use it to take out the two fat men who will be chasing you. Its really tricky
Actually I just replayed it and ignore what I just typed.
You want to bring a gun and shoot into the big work-out room with it. Then melee the people chasing you. Two gun-men should come to your position from opposite sides. Hide, kill them, grab a gun and kill the fat-man. Watch out for the guy in the room below the stairs. he has to be shot or baited you cant rush-melee him.
Thanks frens, will try it again today

Based Colonel dabbing on slavshits.
50 Blessings 4 lyfe.
It escalated from being an endgame-difficulty HM DLC into a full blown game.
who here 1-800-GODDAMN
I miss Pardo posting.
meme
windows
no variety of masks
the fans storyline didn't really end up going anywhere
I played HM2 before HM. HM literally took 90 minutes to beat. Is it because it's so much easier than HM2?
HM has fewer levels and they are easier, you can finish the game with just the knife.
