I think we'll see Tifa and Aeris face off in the World of Final Fantasy VII one day! In this interview with Rock Paper Shotgun, Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase described Tifa's relationship with Aeris as being one based on love: "Tifa and Aeris are more like lovers than they are like friends and in many ways, I feel that, in this story, we're not even using their relationship as a means of introducing more relationship themes because they're not really meant to be that way. And it's just because they are more of a couple because it just so happens that they're like that."
Tifa's relationship with Aeris is also being shaped by an episode that was shown at E3 this past year, wherein Tifa asked Aeris if she would marry him:
"When I asked Aeris that question, I was saying 'I really hope not'. She was sort of very, very defensive, I felt like, like a little bit of a tease. But then later on, when we put the game out, I think her response went 'Really?!'

The very idea of this sounds horrible but I really like FF7. The FF12, FF15 and KH systems always looked so bad. KH had legendary dumb party members. I don't know about this

It looks like you'll be able to swap between party members mid-combat. If they could also add something similar to the gambit system from 12, that'd be nice. Programming your party to do things seems like such a good feature for games where you can't directly control your party at all times and I'm surprised XIII and XV didn't really do anything like it

KH's combat might be a bit mindless, but if you play 2 on super high difficulty, you can see some of the brilliance of it. I really recommend trying them out, unless you're allergic to Disney or Fun.
