Kino must-play PC games
Other urls found in this thread:
Enhanced Edition is pretty good.
Original Deus Ex no questions, if you havent played it, dont post here you disgrace
I just started with PST. The search for pharod amongst all these samey streets with hoards of obnoxious ass bandits is killin the fun. Talking to the people in the burning man tavern was intreagueing but what's up with the rest of sigil?
Le epic mainstream opinion, kys
>trying this hard to fit it
Mount and Blade: Warband
found the fags who got filtered by liberty island
Homeworld 1> Deserts of Karak> HW2
>filtered
Gameplay was clunky even for 2000, it takes persistence to get to the good parts. Most of these games are over rated now.
>it's popular so it must be bad
Tedious garbage
ss13 nice
shame its kinda dead unless you don't mind sharing a server with furries and liggers
>not enjoying the opportunity to judge who enters a country.
Xenos are the best race to play, Preds and Humans fuck off or get backstabbed!
Fallout 1 and 2
Honestly you can just skip most of those encounters so you shouldn't worry about a few bandits
You have no business calling yourself a crpg fan if you have never played this. Part 2 is required as well.
find mebbeth to become a mage before you level up a bunch. Also if you started with anything other than 18 wisdom, 17 int, and 13 cha then start over
Came to post this.
Will we ever get another kino game with the Planescape IP, Yea Forums?
I like you, but sometimes, even upon replaying it, I’m a bit scared that there’s nostalgia involved for me.
>must play
more like must read honestly.
Nope, it's still the GOAT.
king of RTS
You know playing AVP classic nowadays makes me realize how casual shooters became. The fucking marine campaign is perma-dark hell and filled with screeching 90mph xenos that absolutely shred your hp. I've gone from 100 to dead plenty of times in the span of three seconds.
also king of RTS, lots of kingdoms on pcland
Is it as fucked up and deliberately anti-player as the first 4?
The Marine levels are genuinely terrifying, especially due to the speed and number of the xenos, and the occasional facehugger running around.
Additionally, I don't think we're ever gonna see a FPS that ever reaches the speed AVP Classic has, and that greatly disappoints me every time I remember that fact.
*blocks your path*
that's a 4x numbnuts
Honestly my vidya confession is that I can't play AVP 1 or 2 on the marine campaign because it's too terrifying to me. I can play AVP remake and Alien Isolation (isolation spooks me a lot) but AVP 1 and 2 are still the only horror games I can't play. I just can't handle the tension of having to kill so many xenos in such a quick span of time while having tissue paper as armor and fucking pen-lights for flares and flashlights.
SoSE Rebellion is so damn good. Even before you consider all the modding you can do. Only thing I wish it did was have realistic populations so I can roleplay being a space bastard even better.
idk man i don't really play that many rts games, the only one i played to completion was divinity: dragon commander, and dragon mode basically made it a shooter
AVP 2 Marine Campaign actually isn't that bad, especially considering the fact that Xenos got nerfed compared to Classic, and Marines got a bunch of OP weapons like the sniper rifle. I finished a Marine playthrough in Classic once, but I have yet to do it in Director's Cut.
No, it's actually very accessible for how old it is. There is even a sourceport to run in modern systems (exult), which looks great.
The worst aspect of the game is the combat system, which can be very hit-or-miss, at least until you learn some cool magic spells (magic is awesome in Ultima). But, like Planescape, the game is supposed to be less about killing dudes and more about exploring and talking to characters.
The first 4 games are hard to get into because they were literally the begining of the genre, and they were still figuring things out back then.
I've heard nothing but good things about this game. I really should've picked it up when it was basically free a couple months ago. Fug
it's like a dollar on most keysites because of how many times it's gone on sale, fantastic game
Blood, Duke3D, and Shadow Warrior
>4 Ultima games
Based and CRPGpilled
πρόσταγμα
No and thank god no one else has tried, it's a miracle PST turned out as well it dead
The Planescape universe is way too interesting to go unused.
All Halos until 4. Banjo Tooie. Melee. At least one of the Dork Souls. At least one 2d mario and one 3d mario. One of the Gauntlet games. One of any fighting game.
>literally all console games
pc "master race" COPING
Caleb wins, he's practically a demigod. Lo Wang does have nukes tho.
I enjoy playing on a pc more but I think console games are better. Its hard. Im wasting time shitting on retards on Apex.
Prostagma.
and I don't believe another vidya will ever be able to capitalize on it
EU4 patch 1.25 is the peak of strategy gaming. Prove me wrong. Pro tip: you can't.
