>Last time Denuvo game properly cracked is 4 months ago (Far Cry New Dawn)
You should be very worried. Not all game will have leaked DRM free exe like RE2 and DMC5
Last time Denuvo game properly cracked is 4 months ago (Far Cry New Dawn)
I don't care so long as Denuvo keeps working on Linux.
Which it mostly does, only few games don't work on Linux because of it (Tales of Beseria is an example, pirated version works on Linux, legal version doesn't.)
I don't pirate games.
rage 2 was cracked day 1
So? What are you, poor (([yes]))?
Rage 2 DRM free exe was leaked and removed the DRM shortly after that. Not a same thing
I'm guessing there will be decent demand to crack it for Octopath because of the pricing.
>I don't pirate games.
You should
So youre saying theres no demand to crack Total War ?
Fuck off. They just simply cant because Denuvo was silently updated their DRM. Again.
I didn't say that though.
But if you think Total War has as wide interest as a well received Square Enix RPG you're delusional.
>Octofail
>well received
Fucking weebtard
Now that's projecting.
By Square Enix's own admission it sold higher than expected.
What does this mean if not well received?
unironically seething for no reason
In your delusional mind.
What delusion? Why are you throwing a tantrum?
This has been widely reported on
>gamespot.com
I don't care, piracy will never die and it will always find a way. Just wait 6 months or so like it happened last time with assassin's creed
>piracy will never die
It already died 4 years ago.
Reminder that people like unironically think they're funny.
RE2's wasn't leaked though? or am i remembering wrong?
It means Square Enix's standards are pretty damn low.
It's so dead that I downloaded garbage rage 2 a few days ago
Piracy died when the Savior of Denuvo appeared.
Denuvo doesn't make sense, it isn't going to get me to buy their games, if they wanted me to buy their games then they would give their games physical releases on PC, actual physical copies, not download codes, but they don't so I pirate.
I got a physical copy, an actual DRM free physical copy in the mail the other day, first game I paid for in a while, I would buy games more often if buying a physical copy were an option. Charging for a download makes me want to pirate their game and have them go bankrupt as is, making me wait to pirate by adding Denuvo makes me want to pirate even more.
Who
Now I think about it, if I backup save a Steam game to a CD, uninstall Steam, and then play the CD, will it work?
I don't play triple-A garbage
It wasn't even that. Bethesda forgot to implement Denuvo in their own Bethesda store version of the game. Nobody bothered to check until like 3 days after it launched lmao
HEY GUYS NIGGERS!!! AM I COOL NOW??????
you wont even be able to reinstall it without steam
cope, seething, reddit.
He's a Linux user so he's probably just desperate as humanly possible to affirm the legitimacy of his OS.
Which is fair enough, I don't blame him. I only use Windows because it's convenient and undoubtedly the best OS if you just want to play video games and not host a server farm. If Linux had the same support as Windows, I'd probably switch to Linux for gaming.
Fuck
Thankfully most of my 10 games are old and have physical version
>4months ago
crackwatch.com
Are you dumb or something?
Leaked .exe =/= cracked
Fuck off faggot
HEY GUYS NIGGERS!!! AM I COOL NOW?????
Yeah and piracy is good.
post knight prtocting princesses from piracy thugs.
We not always gets a leaked drm free exe.
t.chink
not him but I'd much rather play a Total War game than anything Squeenix shits out at this point.
Winnie The Pooh, Tiananmen Massacre.
Your point ??
A cracked game is a cracked game.
No matter what method it used.
GUYS NIGGERS!!!! CAN I BE COOL NOW????
Im downloaded and play GOG games without paying. Wow im a cracker now time to crack Denuvo
I'll fuck your nose
Install gentoo
>games should come on 10 dual layer DVDs or a Blu ray disk no one has a reader for, so that the extra $0.50 of bomb cost makes my purchase justified!
i will never understand these complete fucking retards. You were never paying for the disc. and the distribution method has nothing to do with DRM or "ownership" GoG games are objectively closer to real ownership than most cd based games from your nostalgia shaded Golden days.
NIGGERS WOOOOOOOOOOOOO AM I COOOOOOL GIUYS!!!!!
aw shit he gone done and saids the gamer word
what has even come out in the last 4 months thats worth cracking?
Everything.
I love videogames
I love japan, period!
I think they should crack uncracked old games first like:
- Quiet man
- Gundam new breaker
- Left alive
FUCKING LAZY CRACKER THESE DAYS
You are fucking deluded my friend. Total War is infinitely more popular in pc scene than octopath.
This is coming from pcphat who buy octopath day-one for switch.
if those games had a DRM free exe why aren't they on gog reeeeeeeeeeee, it's already leaked and cracked, might as well get money from the gog folk.
Piracy is only justified if a game gets discontinued and not sold anymore ( telltale games is a good recent example ) ,for software preservation
If you pirate before this you just are a fucking nigger thief
>So youre saying theres no demand to crack Total War ?
Correct.
Faggot lmfao
Never ever pirate fags
I pirated DMCV even though I got it for free with my graphics card just to have a version without this shit.
>I DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR A GAME BECAUSE I ALREADY PAY FOR ELECTRICITY!
Jesus. This is some new level of retardation right there.
What does that have to do with physical copies? Just pirate, you shouldn't be using Steam to begin with.
That’s wrong though, it’s not just the chinks. TW is insanely popular and most likely the first one on the list to be cracked.
dumbass
Anno
Total War: 3k
Octopath
MK11
These might not have a lot of "users" here, but on the "r*dd*t" pirate discussion and overall release sites/boards there are a lot of angry people.
Loser
dude you need to chill
your autism is showing
NO WAY I AM BEYOND MAD UUUUUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
only buy/back small releases from small, but driven, creators, stuff like HellSign, Stellar Tactics and StoneShard; Pathologic 2 is as big as I'll go to throw away money - direct the moneys to whomst it matters and none to whomstve it doesn't
It's nothing to worry about... There hasn't been a good denuvo game released in awhile that's worth the time to crack.
Denuvo decreases performance, significantly increases load times, and requires internet. I bet it's one of the main reasons Total War requires an SSD now.
Actually wanting to play The Quiet Man or Left Alive, squeenix shovelware.
Piratefags are the problem. They think they are being cleaver but in reality they just made things worse than they used to be. Give it another 10-20 years and stuff like Stadia will be a staple in gaming as it will 100% protect publishers and their games. This is the hole you've dug for yourself.
the problem is digital distribution didn't make games cheaper though it removed the cost of producing a physical good on the publisher's side, you bootlickin, paypiggin fairy
You fucking retard it's not about being clever but simply about not paying.
No, the problem is greedy devs/publishers. Even if there were only a couple hundred pirates, they would still invest in increasingly aggressive DRM.
Piracy is a numbers game. I encourage everyone to buy games because piracy is for my personal enjoyment and convenience.
>This is the hole you've dug for yourself.
Except Denuvo and the like won't stop piracy, the games in this thread will be cracked and I doubt it will take too much time. Imagine paying 60$ for a switch port which originally didn't even cost that much not to mention an crappy indie tier quality game.
>$84 CAD
Yeah, no amount of DRM will get me to buy that.
Total what?
It has already died, only two cracking groups are capable of cracking Denuvo, and it takes them a long time to do so, whilst more and more Denuvo games are being released every month. They just can't keep up.
>4 months since last crack
Poorfags BTFO. Denuvo will never go away with these results.
Denuvo makes total sense. The majority of sales happen the first week of release when hype is at critical from marketing efforts.
The ad costs become justified when ROI gets maximized by everyone buying the game day 1, 2, 3, etc. When the hype dies down, people forget about the release and far fewer buy a game.
So long as Denuvo does not get d0 cracks constantly, it serves its purpose.
imagine being so poor you care for videogames pocket change. if you are in this situation you have bigger problems in your life to deal with.
just stop playing vidya until you climb the social a pyramid a little bit. pathetic niggers
Imagine defending increased load times and worse overall performance.
I still refuse to install a game with denuvo, pirated or otherwise.
>tfw waiting so long for it to be removed from some games I forgot what they were
what do you expect? it s the natural reaction to the amount of niggers in pc gaming.
another practice is releasing for consoles, then waiting a long ass time to release for pc.
it s only natural, not many studios can deal with the increasing cost of doing games for people to steal it.
steal? what was taken?
The people you refer to as niggers are the only reason most of these games will be playable decades from now.
Thats nice, they always claim shit like that but keep it there forever, so its all fucking bullshit.
To be fair, some do remove it.
lmao does anyone uses this argument in good faith? yes piracy is not theft but it s a similar crime.
sure you don t take the thing for yourself, but you take a copy of the project. you know the thing people need to sell to make other games, to pay the devs, to make profit? then again it s not like you have created anything in your life so it s a waste of time to talk about it.
being a leech is a option. being a leech that thinks it has any ethical highground is hilarious. at the very least be a men and say you don t give a fuck for any ethical or pratical implications of your action. Piracy shapes every single aspect of pc game productions these days.
if it was being worked years AFTER release like emulator it s another talk. it s obvious thou that the objective of both users and crackers is not this at all thou.
i sure hope denuvo or something else gets better and better.
who knows, if a really good system gets created perhaps we can still save pc gaming from the complete shithole it is.
pirate niggers don t understand their actions have consequences. Denuvo, Stadia, releases far after consoles, games as a service, focus in multiplayer garbage you can t pirate etc.
we live the era of freemium multiplayer garbage thanks to that. why invest in making a fantastic single player experience when pirates will suck out the profit? it'll never happen again.
Cracker's objective is a good challenge, not free games. Their work and the communities that form around piracy lead to unintentional preservation. A world without piracy is a world with tons of unplayable obscure classics.
>piratefags STILL can't play Handball 17
>He thinks paying $60 for a 30 cent disc is reasonable
Either you admit that you're paying for the data or start pirating. Physical is no different. Both the box and the disc are practically worthless.
opposite is people would just stop giving them money at all and they go down under, but there is far too many gullible plebs and casualfags for that
>people who make shit like piracy part of their identity are angry
You don't say.
Delusional as fuck.
We live in an era where multiplats are more common than ever and games as service and multiplayer focus are extremely popular even on consoles.
Console-only multiplats are nearly nonexistant nowadays, you either have hard exclusives or it gets ported to PC.
But I play every game that come out? Lastly lulua from 2 geeks ago
Based Joueur du Grenier
How will you pirate cloud gaming?
>he thinks cloud gaming will ever be a thing
Yeah, good luck overcoming general relativity and sending signals faster than the speed of causality.
Tell that Google man
You do know that if a game under the license of DRM Denuvo and is cracked with in a time limit, they are reimbursed the money the put into it? Why do you think bethesda removed it so quickly? Why do you think after a certain time they removed from Doom16? Everytime denuvo is cracked, it cost them money. It's a forced insurance policy for Denovu, and any publisher. No matter if you pirate or not, everyone makes the dosh/
I'm a game dev, and I pirate. I don't expect people to pay for my games if they just want to try them to see if they are interesting or worth the money (and demos are too deceiving).
It has already been established by the EU that piracy doesn't harm sales, but in fact does to opposite (promotes the games sales). The game publishers still push their narrative that piracy equals lost sales and try to go ahead with their anti-consumer systems.
What uncracked games remain?
I only know about octopath traveler
Here's the difference: I took my physical copy of Take No Prisoners off of my shelf yesterday, installed it, and played it. Over 20 years after I bought it. I didn't need to do any bullshit other than to pop in the CD and play it. I own the game as much as a game can be owned.
What if Steam or the other systems go bankrupt? What will happen to your account, your games? What will happen to the online games, and the older games that require Steam as DRM?
Piracy is always justified.
see
So it has literally nothing with games being data and you're back to arguing DRM.
There are DRM-less digital games you can buy on GoG, some steam games also don't use steamworks DRM and can be launched by just running the executable even if steam is down.
There are also games that you install from a DVD that require online verification for the product key and can't be played if the verification servers die.
All garbage so it's ok
I should?
>it will always find a way
Sure, but the point of Denuvo is not to kill piracy but to make it more costly and difficult.
Maybe we will reach a point where you need to hack your own CPU to play cracked games.
THIS.
I'm still stuck at v 1.4.1 in Warhammer TW 2. Version 1.5.0 is cracked, but it's unplayable without the Festag update. And no one has cracked the game after 1.5.0.
then why did it take proverbially forever for Capcom to officially remove it from RE7
