Think Evil Within 3 will be announced tomorrow?
Evil Within 3?
Other urls found in this thread:
Probably. But I hope it's Dino Crisis.
I wish he'd find someone that was less of a piece of shit to publish his games.
Tell me, is TEW2 worth picking up for $15?
I liked the first game, but the "open world" of the second game is kinda throwing me off.
I sure as hell hope so, the ending to TEW 2 was retarded. And cliffhanger bait. And nonsensical.
I thought Capcom made Dino Crisis?
I'd ask you the reciprocal. is TEW 1 worth playing? I heard it's tedious and fucking dumb with the boss fights. I loved TEW 2 apart from not understanding what the hell was going on at all.
Its worse that one, but it's still a fun game.
For 15 it's easily worth it. I recommend playing on hardest. The "open world" is limited.
It's not open world you stupid fucking retard, and it's overall a better game than the first.
>is TEW 1 worth playing?
Definitely, Especially since you can pick a key up for like $5. It has it's flaws, but it's a great game nonetheless.
They're both cheap and worth a playthrough. Just fucking get it.
I'm personally on team tew1 but 2 still has cool moments.Just get it.
The "open world" isn't really a big aspect of the game
Boss fights are a mixed bag. Sometimes you just have to run, sometimes it's a normal fight where you have to use up all your resources to take them down, sometimes it's a QTE and sometimes it's an obstacle run.
it's casualized garbo, but worth a playthrough if you can get it a bit cheaper. just don't expect anything close to as good as the first one
They did, and Shinji Mikami was the creator of it back when he worked there.
How accurate is this?
TEW1 = Resident Evil
TEW2 = Silent Hill
Everybody posting all these horror games
nobody wants Mikami to make a game like fucking GodHand or Vanquish.
I FUCKING HATE ALL YOU REEEEE
If you swap then it's correct. But TEW1 is pretty batshit insane compared to SH in terms of the presentation.
>Think Evil Within 3 will be announced tomorrow?
No
>Why?
'Cause nothing good ever happens.
When I first figured this out I was in such disbelief
That man is one of the most diverse directors ever for games
TEW1 couldn't be further away from SH if it tried.
I have Evil Within 2, but never loaded it up. Heard a lot of mixed reviews and haven't found the motivation.
I bought it day one because it was Mikami's return to horror.
My opinion is that no, its not worth it. Its like a very disjointed RE4. The game feel like a rollercoaster but in a bad way, levels go by so fast and in such a non sensical way that you never to enjoy any environment. The gameplay doesnt know if it wasnt to be action or stealth, never committing to either. The game feels like a you are buying best of album of a famous singer, except every song in the album has been cut short to 30 seconds.
SH is pretty tame in its presentation. TEW is Mikami going all out. I'm not saying it's a better game b3cause of it. Just that it's pretty over the top.
It's a really good game, so you wouldn't have liked it anyway
Mixed reviews leaning more towards good. Got similar reviews as the first.
>FIND MYSELF WITHIN
>DARKNESS TWISTING MEEEE AROOOOUND
>THERE IS NOTHING NOTHING I CAN DONE
>THIS WORLD DOOOESN'T SPIN
>IT JUST TURNS ITSELF AROOOUND
youtu.be
You are not alone. I want a V2 more than you'd know.
2 is good, play 2, ignore the haters, yes the enemy ai can be abused in the more open maps, game is still great, much fun
Are we gonna get og Seb and Tatiana voice actors ?
>the "open world" of the second game
This is a massive meme. There's 3 or 4 large ish areas connected by the more traditional corridor segments. Even these areas are just a few blocks in size.
>How accurate is this?
>TEW1 = Resident Evil
>TEW2 = Silent Hill
Very accurate. The people who hate TEW2 tend to hate it for being basically Silent Hill: Downpour without the bugs and with good production values. You've got this open town to explore with sidequests. You've got enemies you can run away from. TEW1 was an RE4 retread with a weird amount of Crysis 2 "destroyed New York" influence. TEW2 is much closer to a Silent Hill game. It turns out the Silent Hill and Resident Evil fanbases really don't see eye to eye.
