Rainbow Mika

crush counters

They should make topless models of the females, since toplessness is extremely common even in rated PG movies now a days a game can get a T rating still with boobs

the muscles

Obviously not Ryi's clothes

I wouldn't mind ads like these during loading screens if it meant getting stuff for free/cheaper

Abigail

Did Ryu even fuck Chun-Li or Sakura?

Most of the newcomers were good so I wouldn't mind seeing them comeback.

mika and her tits and include a nash that doesnt suck dick

Nash was really good in season 1

The fight money system is probably the future of the genre. They just needed to make the base game free/way cheaper and not get scared and gut all sources of FM income.

i like crush counters but they should nerf their hit advantage so you cannot dashup and combo

But that's literally the whole point of them.

Can't they revive one of their other fighting game franchises instead of just making more Street Fighter?

nah Capcom pro tour needs street fighter and their A team is busy with more profitable series than fighting games

Fighting games are already a poverty genre. Why waste all that time and resources on a new project that'll most likely flop?

the FGC is already pretty crowded as it is. with arcsys and netherrealm shitting out new games every 2 years and dropping the old ones, it's nice to have consistent anchors like SF and tekken

Samurai Shodown managed to make a profit.

Fuck this board is nothing but shitposting now.
Nevertheless ill give you a straight answer.

3f buffer for links.
Menat.
"Comeback" meter being used for Alpha Counters.
Modeled nipples and anuses (removed now, but they should have that in SF6).
"Universal" skill that gives you comeback meter being different for every character.
The SFX for projectiles are beautiful.
Quirky little survival mode like GG AC
Cross play
"Ranked" Leagues with simple Gold Silver Bronze divisions.
Character lock for Ranked matches.
2 out of 3 ranked matches.
Asks for input confirmation upon starting versus mode.

fix juri

I like the removal of 1-frame links. Just pointless boring tedium to have to grind that shit out for basic combos. Some characters are a bit boring and limited in their combos but I think they added enough high skill ceiling characters for the training mode addicts that it balances it out.

>SFX for projectiles are beautfil
I meant VFX but fuck, it, both

The vast majority of the newcomers. They're MUCH better than 4's lineup. I know that Rashid & Menat will stay for sure, but I'd like to see G, Zeku, Ed, FANG, Laura, and Abigail stick around, and maybe Kolin. Necalli can stay gone.

>Rashid

I hope they never bring back Ed/Falke control schemes.

He was pushed as a major character in the story, he's mildly popular, and he was apparently designed in collaboration with people in the Middle East (they said that when he was announced). He'll come back before most of V's newcomers.

they made them shitty on purpose to have those controls, doesnt make sense

>was apparently designed in collaboration with people in the Middle East
No wonder he looks like shit then.

Some of the shit isn't even easier/more intuitive than motions. Trying to jab xx flicker as Ed is way more annoying than just doing a QCF. Or Falke's fireball, which could have been QCF+P/K for high/low but instead is negative edge and manually crouching. Fucking annoying.

>I like crush counters but they should nerf the ability to counter with them
Ur dum

>I like crush counters
You're a fucking moron that can't hit-confirm off counterhits.
Making recovery frames of certain specials moves give counter-hits like how they did Guile's sonic boom in usf4 was perfectly fine.

I agree, IV's newcomers were absolute shit. V's newcomers were all pretty good, no one was Rufus or El Fuerte tier bad.

You know how fighting games used ship with all of the content planned, and there was no DLC or mobile currency, or grinding to unlock stages, characters, etc?

Yeah, maybe SF VI should be more like that. Same can be said for Tekken 7, Guilty Gear, SC 6, and Mortal Kombat.

Post more

Gouken, Hakan & Poison were great at least. Fuerte was a decent idea but KOF did it better in the 90s with Ramon.

FANG and G.

No but Sakura pretty much confirmed she wanted his babies in her arcade shit.
Rashid and G. Rashid at least looks cool, maybe they can make his personality better. G is just amazing.

It also occurred to me that V only introduced 4 characters who were completely brand new, and that's shitty.

Anyway, they should keep Masahiro Aoki as one of the lead composers. And keep making the female models fuckable. And uh, that's about it. Didn't like SFV that much.

based

this character is so fucking funny, it's a shame he'll never come back because the weird characters never do

>It also occurred to me that V only introduced 4 characters who were completely brand new
I see why you might think thaat but I don't think it's a terrible thing. Characters like Kolin and Abigail were characters that sort of stuck in the back of people's minds, they could have gone really weird and make Retsu and such.

Is this where we pretend Abagail is good character design? Or Kage, Zeku, or Kolin?

>Abigail
Bad design but decent character, he was stupid at release but now he's not as bad.
>Or Kage, Zeku, or Kolin?
Kage is the only bad one there. Zeku is great and Kolin is pretty good.

There's a short story on CFN about what he does post-shadaloo and he gets a female apprentice, so she might appear in SF6 probably as a side character.

I hope they keep him anyways, maybe as part of some Shadaloo revival against the Illuminati.

>There's a short story on CFN about what he does post-shadaloo and he gets a female apprentice, so she might appear in SF6 probably as a side character
That side story is pretty weird actually. The way Fang finds her it says is that he originally fired her as a prostitute and took an interest when she tried to murder him.

Would Ed/Falke be a little bit better if their PP/KK specials had differing properties based on the buttons pressed, like how LP/MP/HP DPs have differing invulnerabilities? Urien and Menat and others have EX specials that change based on what two buttons were pressed, so the game clearly can distinguish between LP+MP and LP+HP.

I have a softspot for her as I play her, I don't really think it's anything terrible. It's a shame she's essentially just an accessory to Ed, she'll never be back. I genuinely do find her fun to play, I like mid range characters and her charge mechanic with her punch buttons and negative edge is interesting.

Attached: 72507941_p0.jpg (1049x709, 166K)

I think that's how hold-button specials worked in SFIV. Pretty sure Quesadilla Bomb and Zonk changed based on button and had an EX variant.

Keep Menat and get rid of everything else.

are you shit talking based old man ninja

I like Falke's design and I want to learn to play her but she just seems a little unusual. I already have trouble with remembering to use bullhorn on a far easier to play character. Seems much easier to learn than FANG and Laura though and those were my other two characters of interest.

Maybe they took it out because of the whole simplicity approach in SFV but it seems like it cuts out a good deal of utility that all the other characters get for their specials. Letting Falke have differing fireball speeds and EX versions and maybe Ed getting EX flicker might give them a bit more nuance and versatility.

She's not difficult to, her combos are pretty simple and her buttons aren't complex. AT the same time though she's not like Cammy or Akuma where she will carry you either. She's low mid tier at best, a character you can definitely win with but it does require smarter play then a lot of the top tiers. Fang is definitely harder to play. Laura is weird, she's reliant on mixups so how good you are about being unpredictable will determine how successful you will be. I enjoy her a lot just because she's the general archtype I normally play but if you are thinking of just picking her up she's not terribly hard. A lot of people shit on her because of her boring personality and stiff animations, which is fair, but she's pretty fun to play I feel and offers a nice challenge.

Zangief main here, Falke is for gays and fags

with Falke you don't really have to alternate much between her hold buttons, you're usually always holding down LP to charge her shots. Her usual string st.mp > st.mk has enough hitstun/blockstun to fully charge.

That matchup is definitely brutal for poor Gief. Gief is a weird case, he's basically the only top tier that has actual weaknesses.
This. Her most important buttons are st.MP, st.MK, st.HP, F+HP, and that weird DF+MP. These buttons make up 70% of what you do as Falke

>he's basically the only top tier that has actual weaknesses.
Gief is basically just upper mid tier.
Keep in mind with Zangief that people expect him to be bad and get upset when he isn't.
When Gief is the worst character in the game he's apparently totally balanced and fair, and when he's actually balanced he's apparently OP and needs nerfs.

People love to overhype how good Zangief is whenever he isn't the worst character in the game, for some reason he makes people saltier than any other character in the game too.
He's far from Top Tier right now, the same people saying that Zangief is top 5 and needs a nerf are the same ones that said Capcom gutted Cammy and needs to buff her again.
