Is there anything fucking good on Switch right now that ISN'T A PORT? It's all indie garbage, but my friend told me to check out like Sundered and Bloodstain or whatever looks pretty fun. I'm not really into indie games though.
Is there anything fucking good on Switch right now that ISN'T A PORT? It's all indie garbage...
Super Mario Odyssey
Super Smash Bros Ultimate
(maybe) Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Splatoon 2
everything else good is indeed a port
I'm gonna tell it to your straight: if you're not into indies and AA japanese titles, and are ONLY interested in mainline Nintendo games, this console has nothing to offer you in the long term.
The target audience isn't the same as a traditional Nintendo console.
It's more of a portable indie/port/AA japanese machine.
It's a spiritual successor to the Vita.
All of this is allowing Nintendo to spend more time on their mainline titles and space them apart much more.
But for someone like you, that isn't into indies, you're basically fucked.
Nintendo isn't interested in you as their audience right now, they're selling on multiple, much more profitable audiences while also keeping specific nintendo fans hooked from time to time.
>multiplat games are ports
Jesus Christ, Yea Forums...
They are when they come several years after the original, doofus.
Already played all that, oh well. So that means everything else is trash right now.
wow you're a good businessman
When were these multiplats supposed to come out for Switch? 2016? A year before it released? Think.
I can list a ton of great games, but you'd say they're all indie garbage, so what's the point?
If you want non-Nintendo AAA experiences, Switch is not the console for you.
>It's all indie garbage
Some of the best games I've played were indie games, don't dismiss them all. Plus they're less expensive and often go on sale. I just got Shakedown Hawaii and Slay the Spire and I'm loving them both.
>Plus they're less expensive and often go on sale
If that's your justification, then there's no reason to get them anywhere but PC.
They're better on Switch due to the portability. I play a lot in handheld mode even though I could be using my TV, it just feels right.
The catch being that they’re not all 480p and can barely maintain 29 FPS.
I'm not autistic enough to care
I don't have any friends besides my gf to play SSB with and I haven't played the series in ages. Is it really worth $40 right now if I don't feel strongly about it? I don't necessarily mind waiting but my Switch has been collecting dust since I got bored of Moero.
If your pc is that bad, you shoumd take them on Switch. They run great most of the time.
>that ISN'T A PORT?
Nope lol
I never owned a Wii U so some these of games are new for me like Bayonetta 2 and Dong Freeze.
Switch is primarily getting ports of Wii U and 360/PS3 games. And at full fucking price too. Third party shit are games coming out right now developed by companies other than Nintendo. That Marvel game and Astral Chain come to mind.
Did you heard about that Skyrim? You should buy it user, it's really good, you can do ton of stuff, hundred of hours of fun ahead of you.
