Starting from 2 updates ago they're putting a lot of work into tweaking offline AI and they've just teased actual content coming soon. The community team has also expressed genuine interest in classic Galactic Conquest.

Why does it matter if the vehicles are on the map itself or not? That's such a retarded point to nit-pick on. Especially since you literally only need to shoot 1 guy if you want to use a vehicle and at that point you can use a vehicle for the rest of the match. The point is to establish an early-game.

Not to mention you can leave vehicles when you please. What are you even talking about? You've clearly never played the game. Next you'll Google it and go "Aha! But the vehicles blow up!" which is exactly what happened in classic BF2 if you left a vehicle too far from its spawn point.

I would say it's worth $5. The maps are still pretty unbalanced and expect to get slaughtered by players with maxed out star card sets and the better weapons unlocked for awhile. The progression is fixed though rather than it all being completely luck based with lootboxes that take forever to earn you just get points as you level up from playing that you can spend on cards. Your also able to just pick what cards you want to unlock with points so the entire progression system in infinitely better than it was at launch. Weapons are also just unlocked through getting kills although it was that way at launch but worth mentioning.

I played it a month ago. It still felt like a dumbed-down Battlefield.

It's at most 2 people on teams of 2, and the vehicle still fires its main weapons if nobody is in it. Plus, honestly, since there's a time limit on how long people are in them there's plenty of opportunity for someone who isn't a dipshit to get in it and use it appropriately.

What are you even talking about? When you get a vehicle you get to freely roam across the map and particpate in objectives the same as anyone else. There are lots of tank battles at command posts supported by infantry.

Yes you can you colossal retard. I play the game. Let's say I use a Heavy Trooper and then die and then spawn in a vehicle. My driver is a Heavy Trooper then I hold the "use" button to leave my vehicle and I'm back to using my Heavy Trooper without respawning.

You must have played with either total retards or only played with AI because anyone smart enough in classic BF2 always rigged their team's vehicles with landmines to prevent the other team from hijacking vehicles.
