The fuck did you say to me, bitch? I bet you're one of those queer Mother fans that thinks it's an important series that people care about. But guess fucking what? It's not.
Sebastian Bell
Ah so it IS scalebound. Also what is scalebound again?
Real leaker here. I will confirm and deny one character. Make it count.
Evan Cooper
it can't be scalebound because everyone expects it to be scalebound
Alexander Smith
Likely candidates: Kid Icarus Golden Sun Custom Robo (Retro's game maybe?) Less likely, but still possible: F-Zero Fatal Frame Star Fox (Let's pretend Zero never happened) I fucking wish: StarTropics Wave Race Sin & Punishment Baten Kaitos

If they don't, they'd have to get actual jobs and work for a living instead of relying on children and clickbait.

So what they said exactly was >Basically, that there's a cancelled game that Nintendo is reviving like they used to with Bayonetta and Devil's Third and that sort of thing >And people are connecting it to something - anyway, moving on... From the phrasing, my assumption is that this is a third-party title, and that it's something that people have actively been making the connection to online. When this news first broke, the title people were connecting this to the most was Scalebound. I don't know where the rights to that lie, though - if Microsoft completely owns the IP, then I doubt Platinum could shop it around, though I guess Nintendo could just negotiate for the rights to the project. Between Bayonetta 3 and Scalebound (and the work they were doing on that Granblue game before), does Platinum have the manpower for another title? Still, if we're looking at the title that's been discussed in relation to this rumor the most, it's Scalebound.
In terms of other well-publicized cancellations, the only one that instantly comes to mind that I saw people talking about is Mega Man Legends 3. But while there were some murmurs about it initially, I don't think it's something that's been discussed a lot, at least recently.
When you look at discussions happening right now about what's going to be appearing at Nintendo's press conference, the only 'dead IP' that is really getting a lot of traction is Banjo-Kazooie. There was never a Banjo game that was announced and then cancelled though (I suppose there could've been one in development at some point), and while Banjo is being discussed a lot, I don't think any of it's been in-relation to this rumor. I don't know how tuned in they are to online discussions, though - they might see the increased Banjo discussion, and while obviously a lot of it is pertaining to Smash, they might think that part of it is related to this rumor. I really doubt this one, though.

fuck off

Actually, there was a Threeie trailer shown for gamecube before it was cancelled because of the buyout. They were going to cancel dinosaur planet too before it turned into starfox adventures but threeie was outright cancelled.
Asher Wood
what even are publically cancelled games from the past few years? there's scalebound, silent hills, megaman legends 3, and then what?
Jack Roberts
Mega Man HAS to be it, right? Remember that megaman twitter post with volnutt on it? Remember?
That just seems way too good of a thing to be true. Don't raise my hopes, user.
Nicholas Robinson
>Star Fox (Let's pretend Zero never happened) Frankly, this is what I want to see. Zero’s bitter taste is still fresh enough in people’s mouths that I think Star Fox fans WANT to see them try it again but with less suck, and the series hasn’t been dead long enough to be forgotten. Meanwhile, if you bring back a series that hasn’t seen light since the GameCube era, it’ll probably get some buzz for a little while then be quickly forgotten by all the zoomers these days.
Jeremiah Allen
Fuck yeah I'd dig it. A shame it's owned by Namco.
Isaiah Martinez
>reviving an old IP
It's going to be arms 2
Juan Scott
Ah, forgot about that. To be fair, that was intended more as a tech demo - as far as I remember, they didn't start production on a new Banjo title (ignoring the handhelds) until the failed Banjo X. But I mean, yeah, Banjo-Threeie was technically announced as early as the end of Banjo-Tooie, but I don't know, my impression was more that it was a title that was discontinued during development that they're paying to finish, rather than a title that was promised but that they never even really started on. But who knows? I'd be extremely hyped if it was Banjo-Threeie, though I doubt that's what it is.
I completely forgot about Silent Hills, but without Kojima I don't see that happening, and it's not a title I think would ever come to Switch. I can't really think of any other high-profile cancellations other than that in the last couple of years.
Gavin Ross
>implying Scalebound could ever run on the nintendo shitch
lmao keep dreaming folks
Levi Robinson
Can't wait to see it's a revival of Nintendogs, on mobile. Those faggots don't know shit about what is happening internally at Nintendo. They never do.
It's going to be Scalebound, It's such a poorly hidden leak. And I don't expect it to be the exact same, The multiplayer is most likely scrapped. That was one of the reasons it was cancelled.
Jack Long
It won't be F-Zero since this IP is DEAD and BURIED just like MOTHER (yes fags, Mother is dead)
Brayden Brown
incredible work

It'll be either F-Zero or Mother. Or a collaborative effort with Microsoft to bring back Banjo-Kazooie

are you genuinely retarded?
do you understand what "publically cancelled game" means?
Gavin Barnes
>Or a collaborative effort with Microsoft to bring back Banjo-Kazooie Didn't the Xbox twitter account hint at a special guest during their E3 presentation? It might be someone from Nintendo.
Hunter Harris
I would kill for a new Kid Icarus, F-Zero, Fatal Frame, or Sin & Punishment.
I also don't think Fatal Frame is as dead as people are thinking. I hope we get a port of 5 to the Switch as well as a new game too.
We know they've at least been thinking about it over the years.
Mother 3 or F-Zero Something in me wants it to be Banjo Kazooie, but seeing as Microsoft owns them they're probably not gonna do that and(if rumors and recent news are to be belived) possibly Banjo could be revived at Xbox's conference. June 9nth-11nth is literally starting tommorow what the fuck
Sebastian Clark
The game is Goldeneye remastered In collaboration with Microsoft, including Live support and full crossplay

Will never happen but would be the best news ever. I didn't replay it since like 7 years or so, and wouldn't mind a remaster, PCSX2 can't do much about stretched 16:9 UI and shit.
I hardly get excited over anything videogame-related anymore but a new F-Zero, or even an enhanced GX port would actually get my heart pounding with excitement, not that I'm seeing it happening anytime soon, if ever
