People like DMC a lot, it has three really incredible action games and one decent combat system stuck in a mediocre game.

The level of depth to this fight and number of things Vergil does SPECIFICALLY because of his character's personality is great. I love taunting him and getting Summon Swords to spawn for my trouble.

It makes no sense for an Xbox/PS4/PC game to have a completely new separate edition when people have easy access to the internet these days. Literally the only way DMC5SE would be some kind of new exclusive edition is if it's next-gen only with additions current-gen is too weak to handle.

As Dante learn to use Sin DT with quadruple S. On easy difficulties Sin DT demolishes everything so you don't have to bother, but on DMD it won't work anymore and quadruple S is much more efficient way to use it.

By the time DMC5 takes place Vergil has been stuck in a weird half-dead corrupted demon zombie state for like 20 years, and in that time Dante has aged normally. In 4 Vergil looks more like Nero than he does Dante, same thing in 5.

No, it's because the face of the voice actors morphs the 3D model. The actors are essentially wearing a digital mask.

Even if you mod the game so that they have the same faces you see that the highly detailed facial animation is twisting the face so that it looks more like voice actor. Dante with Vergil's face completely lacks the "fat jaw" that's caused by Dan Southworth's face.

However, you do have a point in that motion capture actors cannot just have anyone as their face model. The actor for Leon in Remake2 said in an interview that one of the reason he got cast is because his facial structure was similar to Leon's face model.

Of course the animation rig for the face can be tweaked, but there's a limit to how much.

You want to capture the expressions of the actors, and that means capturing the way their face looks to an extent. You can't change the rig too much without completely fucking up the facial animation.
