I really really like AC Odyssey.
I really really like AC Odyssey
good for you, buddy.
Ah its that AC origin game on another map
wtf what part of the game looks like this and why
I actually forgot they were 2 different games
It's from the the underworld, basically the hell version of the afterlife in the
ancient greek world. Home of Hades. Like in AC Origins you visited different
versions of their afterlife you get to do the same in Odyssey, it's part of the Atlantis
dlc.
Sure, it's great.
How come you never go back to the original island to help with the disease you caused?
I am waiting for last part of Atlantis DLC to be released and then I 'll play through the whole DLC.
What can you do?
It's pretty good. Gotta admit I thought Hades would look
more brutal and less "elvish".
Kill some people, gather some herbs, go to different locations and talk to people, the same thing you do the entire game. It's just weird that they mention it like three or four times and you never actually go back to see what you can do to help. Maybe that magic staff can do something?
I just really hate the combat, you don't feel like you connect with anyone and you aren't connected to the world at all, looks like you are rollerblading around the enemy.
The games world is pretty as fuck, the ship stuff is pretty cool, and I like the idea of unlocking skills/abilities to use, but the combat is trash.
Its a shame Unity was so fucked at launch, imo it had the best combat out of any AssCreed, but it never really had a chance with how it launched
I guess but then there'd be no consequence for letting the soldiers
kill that family.
Post more screenshots. And where is Atlantis?
I got AC Origins for Christmas and I dunno it's not for me. Something about it doesnt click
Interesting, the combat and animations are one of my favorite
things about the game. I feel that there's a flow in how the character
moves that a lot of games just doesn't get close to.
That's true, the people who let the soldiers kill the family wouldn't have any reason to go back and so the half that chose that option would be missing out on content. Can't have choices matter.
That last one is from the base game.
I haven't taken a lot of screenies from the DLCs.
This one's from Elysium, the ancient greeks
version of heaven/paradise.
I have no idea how you think that dude.
Like I'm pretty open to people liking stuff I don't like and I think Odyssey has a LOAD of good points, but I think its combat is just objectively bad.
Its not challenging, there doesn't feel like a connection when you land hits, and like I said you just skate around, I think the rest of the game for the most part does a great job of making you feel like your character is connected to the world, but when you are in that combat ready stance and just moving around it looks and feels terrible.
True I guess you could have made that one quest deeper but sometime
you just gotta start cracking on another quest. I'd love to be able to go back
after some time and start working on a cure for the people or something like that though,
it's the island where you kinda grew up after all.
I meant there'd be no consequence for sparing the family.
You'll like it even more if you play it from start to end in Japanese. The cast is absolutely kino.
Kassandra, Risa Shimizu
Layla, Atsuko Tanaka
Myrinne, Inoue Kikuko
Leonidas, Jouji Nakata
literally poor man's god of war
shut up weeb
weeb baiting or not the japanese dialogue has ZERO cringe moments. which is something you can't say about the inconsistent english audio track
Underage
because you don't understand it. unless you are literally japanese you are a weeb
Native speaker of both. The english dialogue is really cringe inducing. Where do they get these people from? Homeless shelters? At least Japanese have to go to school to get seiyuu jobs.
if it's that bad then it's the writing, i mean for gods sake it's ubishit, they are incapable of writing good dialogue or characters or well anything really
