Then Mania isn't the worst culprit of that, Sonic 4 is since it tried and did it completely wrong. The only thing Mania did wrong was having Green Hill and Chemical Plant one right after the other just like Generations did
From what I've heard they peaked at the 2012 one, the last game did some dumb shit where new characters were locked to one event and there weren't any Dream Events. Can't speak for the 2014 one

Mania, just like Sonic 4, shouldn't have existed.

Sonic 4 is fun as fuck, even if it's nothing like the old genesis game, plus the soundtrack imo is pretty good.

More Sonic music remixes, hopefully not a shit ton from Forces and if anything remixes of the classic Sonic music. Also a pipe dream, but preferably songs that are less remixed, like the hand held stuff and some of the classic games.

I want to see Sticks make a return since Boom is basically dead. Another pipe Dream but a playable Mighty and Ray would be good too.

Mario side I don't have a whole lot to ask for, I'm primarily satisfied with how it's represented.

I disagree personally, 4 was a one and done for me, both episodes. And I find the soundtrack in the first one to be undeniably meh. Episode 2 was better in both gameplay and music but not by that much

I've only played 2010 and a little of 2012. They're decent party games if you have friends to play with.

I don't recall much waggle in the last game though since it used the GamePad and I'm assuming the same for the 2014 game. Maybe it was there in multiplayer
