I hated both endings because they felt super contrived. either goody two shoes or eviler than satan. zeke was cool in the first game but a whiny bitch in 2. I felt nothing when it came to him

Its only contrived if you're too stupid to understand the point. Also, Zeke was way whinier in the first game, that was his whole character arc.

I hope the next inFAMOUS game brings Cole back because the evil ending was supposed to be canon, but they looked at trophy data to see which ending had the most % and surprise! it was the good ending.

Beast Cole would be boring as shit to play against. He's literally invincible. Its the same reason why Superman has never gotten a good video game. No challenge means no fun 99% of the time. I do want Cole back though, just not as The Beast.

If they balanced you to not be OP then they'd have to come up with some excuse as to why Beast Cole isn't as powerful as he should be, or just leave it as an unexplained plot hole. Second Son was okay imo, I liked Smoke the best even if it didn't make sense why you could heal people, and Neon was fine. Characters could have been better though.

I liked Cole better in 2 though, he had more personality than "grr gruff gravel voice hero man" that the era was so fond of.

I liked how lighting storm required energy instead of ionic charges in the first one.

I wonder why they didn't remaster these two games, skipped on a PS3 and it'd have been nice.

I imagine its because in terms of popularity it was kind of lukewarm at best in its peak of relevance, nowadays the series is almost completely forgotten by most people, even the 10 year anniversary only got people talking about it for like a day.

Probably because most people played "good" all the way up until the end, then didn't want to do a shit ton of tedious grinding to be able to make an evil choice. You should have been able to swap sides at the end LIKE YOUR TEAM MATES DID.
