Tanks are cool
Is there a single game in which tanks are tanky and not just sitting death machines?
Forgotten Hope 2 tanks are pretty boss, provided there's no AT to fuck you up.
>Do you like tanks?
>posts mmo cancer trash that has nothing to do with tanks
Unironically kill yourself, nigger.
Out of interest, how detailed is the tank damage model in this game? Do you fight vs infantry as well as other tanks?
I heard this game only has 2 different tanks to drive around in which sort of puts me off.
Graviteam tactics is great fun though.
>3rd person view
Unironically kill yourself, nigger.
no they're loud, hot, and cramped and the tracks are a pain in the ass
>WoT
>mmo
>arcade tank game has nothing to do with tanks because it's not realistic
>post a game where you can control a tank with just one person and has third person view
What game?
You have the whole tank crew. You can switch points of view between different crew.
Like the camera man hanging in a glider behind the tank?
MOWAS2, Steel Div 2
No, like everyone in the tank retard. I didn't say anything about the 3rd person camera. If that's the biggest problem a game has then it's hardly a shitty game.
Why has there never been a cooperative multiplayer game that requires a full tank crew each working a specific job? Would it just be too boring for the loader?
I'm talking about one that is more realistic than not, I know there are multiplayer games like Battlefield where there is a driver and a gunner.
There's the Arma games but that's all I can really think off. Would be very boring for the loader.
>entire match of nothing but press X to load with a shitty restricted view of nothing but the interior of the tank.
Better off playing something like Post Scriptum, third person is cancer.
You can do that in Arma.
Only way to make the game interesting for the loader would probably be to make them play a minigame to load rounds.
I agree, haven't played PS though, only FPS game I really play atm is Forgotten Hope 2 which is pretty much dead.
Imagine a VR multiplayer game where people play as a tank crew
The loader may have something to do if he needs to pick the right type of shells or even man the machine gun
>Men of War
>A single well placed conscript cyka blyat can take out a panzer with nothing but a molotov
Fantastic game but tanks really do require a lot of attention in this game.
I would think playing as the radio operator would be more boring than the loader. Hell, even playing as the driver would be boring shit compared to playing as the gunner or the commander, in addition to being arguably the hardest job.
I think a game like this would be a hard sell even to autistic tank fans.
Only like certain tanks tovarish ))
))))
You could definitely automate roles like loader, or simply make a game where you crew a t72. I know there have been some successful games over on tablets/mobile that focused on playing as a spaceship crew, where different people took on different responsibilities and had to communicate information to each other to ensure that people knew when to do their jobs, so I believe that this can be made fun, it probably requires a certain mindset though.
Is WoT worth playing nowadays? I used to play it back in 2012-2013, been kinda wanting to give it a try again but people are saying it's gone to shit now. Most complaints I've heard were about it being more P2W than before.
It's a different game from 2013 some aspects are better some are worse, lots of unbalance and p2w tanks tho.
Just try it, it's free after all. I find it's good for killing time it you don't think to much about it.
>tanks really do require a lot of attention
I can't think of an RTS where they didn't require babysitting.
Maybe one of those grand strat/RTS ww2 sims by matrix games.
I read some review on one of their games where the units perform some useful tactical decisions on their own.
VR has a lot of potential in this space if done right.
In Foxhole there's a multicrew tank that you unlock at the very end of the campaign where one seat is just loading shells.
I absolutely love tanks. I especially love the idea of driving a big heavy tank up to a battle where friendly infantry is struggling with the enemy and blowing the enemy position up and having the infantry thank me and we push up together.
This of course never happens and people come flying out of the trees with C4 and blow me up in 5 seconds yet I still try.
90% of my frustration with the game would disappear if there wasnt as much bullshit RNG in the game
cute tank you got there user
Syrian warfare makes tank fucking OP even against ATGM's, of course is an rts so is too good for Yea Forums.
90% of the players would also disappear because RNG is the only thing that gives shitters a chance to perform in that game.
It may be free but it would require a significant time investment from me to learn all the maps, tanks and whatever else they changed from when I stopped playing.
The loader also makes the cheese sandwiches.
I play British tanks.
Can still be overrun pretty quickly if you're careless though
Also a nice mechanic that you can knock out a tank and capture it instead of fully destroying it if you're careful
>World of Tanks is a massively multiplayer online game developed by Belarusian company Wargaming
Reminder that wargaming is a fucking scum company affiliated with tons of shady business practice.
