What would compel someone to buy FFXV pocket edition?
dunno about you but ima gonna go to swim or some shit. have fun with your switch
Sniper Elite V2. Enjoyed it a lot on PC back in the day and it's cool to see how good it looks in handheld but it really hasn't aged as well as its sequels. It's essentially obsolete as soon as the Sniper Elite 3 port hits Switch later this year.
I need some rest from RPGs. I think I'll start SteamWorld Dig.
I inexplicably purchased FF12 the other week when I had a $10 Best Buy coupon instead of Zelda or Xenoblade so now I'm playing it.
I'm enjoying it but I can't really say I'm playing it. I'm just sitting there and moving the characters around while they auto fight.
Puzzle games. Might start Tangledeep because the save bug got fixed a while back.
>Stealing games via piracy

Digging into some comfy FFXII
What's the hacking scene atm like?
I might get a Switch soon. I want a 'legit' account so I can play Mario Kart online with friends, but then a hacked, offline account of homebrew, etc. Is that possible, without getting banned of course.
Super Mario 64 on Retroarch. Switch has no fucking games.
Doom, Quake and Rollercoaster Tycoon 2
Nope. Just buy one online Switch and another offline one.
The money you're going to save from pirating 5 games will make up for the 2nd Switch.
Mammamia
The Wonderful 101 is coming bros
Get in here, prospective Atelierbros.
Best versions of the ports too
hbg shop
That’s a foods series. Specially 2
What puzzle games?
*sips* stay mad
Any switches purchased after July 2018 can’t be hacked
How’s the frame rate
Proof?
Pokemon ultra moon on 3DS
>How’s the frame rate
Perfect, silky smooth 25fps (so identical to real n64). Use latest retroarch launched from a nsp forwarder (i use a forwarder for the whole hbmenu so that all homebrew has full access to ram) and enable dynamic recompiler from the mupen64 core. There are no graphical glitches, even the noise effect from teleports and blue cap is emulated just fine. I think it only misses the transition from peach to bowser in the corridor leading to bowser in the dark world.
>Koei PC ports
Never again. I've been fooled 4 times already.
>That’s a foods series. Specially 2
But it's good, right?
Hey, I bought it, too. Day 1.
the waiting game because there's nothing worthwhile on it.

>You’ve previously brought up the possibility of bringing The Wonderful 101 to Switch. What do fans need to do to make it happen?
>Inaba: “Yeah, I think I said that on multiple occasions. And I’m glad that I did. So if you could be patient with it, that’ll be great.”
Does it run well yet? I really want to play portable Raystorm like I did on the PSP.
Real good. Once you finish 2, you’ll miss it. I didn’t like steamworld quest much. Heist was also fun

I like my modded Switch a lot. So much I'd be pretty sad if it ever broke. So I was thinking of buying another one. Which bundles are safe to buy if I want to find one with the exploit? Mine was a Fortnite bundle, which I bought because I knew it was vulnerable to the paperclip trick and I could sell the Fortnite code to some kid on Ebay (which I did, and made 50€ from it). Is the Mario Tennis bundle safe to buy?
Yea, I bought Dig 1, 2 and Heist while they were on sale recently. Thanks!
Grim Fandango and Smash
I need a replacement joycon
left or right, Yea Forums
Nothing, I'm not a child.
Why not look for a fortnite bundle online?
Good stuff, enjoy
Gray
I can't really compare with anything because I only emulated on android phones before that ( I'm a huge poorfag ) and it was shit with all the terrible lag.
So far I'm having no problems running ps1/nes/snes, I even found some weird ports on dark umbra that work greatly like that PC fan port of doom64.
You sure act like one.
Dragon's Dogma
Bitterblack Isle here I come.
Left isn't a joycon, it lacks an internal battery or vibration and won't work when not connected to the system. That said if that's fine for your use case I hear it's pretty good.
As for right, I got the splat joycons last week to replace my launch neon ones and I'm liking them a lot. They also feel a lot sturdier attached, probably thanks to not having suffered from two years of my portable abuse.
No games to play, just lamenting it's existence. There's a Ni No Kuni HD remaster, except the Switch is just getting a port of the PS3 version, there was a new Tales of game announced, every platform but Switch. I just don't know why I bother anymore, it's clear that Switch will never have a decent library, I guess a console selling well is irrelevant to it's support.
>babby's first concern troll
nice
Mario Odyssey is safe
You're retarded if you buy a Nintendo console to play non Nintendo games
FF12, man playing purely in 4x mode made that thing bearable. But fuck the debuff stacks every magic enemy has.
Who the FUCK thought giving everyone Bad Breath was a good idea?
>I bought a hybrid system of comparable power to a PS360, now I'm only going to use it docked and complain about it getting ports comparable to PS360 versions
I do not understand this.
Op here. You tried but I love my switch.
I just got SupeR Robot Wars in, it's fucking wild, 2 chapters in.
I hope Gurren Lagann is in it.
Praying for a ncie " This is out right now" moment at E3
But the Switch is a desolate platform, I've spent the last year wondering why I even bought it, I got Smash, It's the last game I bought, only because Dragon Marked for Death didn't release in my country.
I'm not expecting anything more than what we got in the past, gone are the days of even just the Wii where third parties would take advantage of the lower development costs to make something built around that hardware, Switch is legitimately pathetic, and Nintendo are doing seemingly nothing to rectify this, they aren't buying Studios to fill gaps, they aren't publishing more games to fill gaps, they aren't increasing their internal studios to fill gaps, they are just sitting around leaving gaps, they expect customers to play 1 game for 6+ months.
Switch is more powerful than those systems, there's actually a pretty reasonable difference in power between them, so even though they could do a half way between Ni No Kuni HD and Ni No Kuni, they are just going to release a flat port, expectations for performance are below the PS3 version.
You can love your Switch all you want, I have one and it's a joke.
The switch is not even 3 years old and already has 1500+ games. Wtf do you want?
Sell it.
How is Octopath Traveler?
Now that it's out on PC i'm wondering weither i should get it on switch or PC.
Right. Official ones are not perfect but at least they can fulfill its functions. Third party ones can't wake up the switch via the controllers and most of them requires you to sync them up again manually.
I've been playing Binding of Issac, as well as enjoying the new Dreamcast emulator that runs better than expected for an initial release. JSR, Toy Commander and THPS2 for full kino.
Depends on what matters the most for you. I would recommend the switch version just for the sake of portability. As for the game is self it's good but it's not doing anything unique to be considered great. I want to say wait for it to go for it to go on sale but I don't think I have ever seen that game go on sale.
1480 games not worth owning, especially not on Switch, they just release Dandy Dungeon for Switch, it's a port of a decent mobile game, it's $25, and the aspect ratio hasn't been fixed to work with Switch, so all the action takes place in the center of the screen. An overwhelming majority of those 1500 games are this, ports from phones that cost significantly more than what they are worth.
Why? so I can rebuy it in 2023 to play Metroid Priime 4? I have nothing to gain from selling it, almost nothing to gain by holding onto it.
Get it on PC, visually it's not at all impressive, and for some reason it only ran at 720 and 30fps, with noticeable stutter.
Well now that it's on PC we can rightfully hope for a sale in a few months..
But my main concern would be which way it feels better to play, with keyboard/mouse or a pro controller on switch.
I got all the gems in Crash 1.
You can just use your pro controller with steam to play it on PC.
Didn't even know that, that's awesome.
Guess i'll wait for a decent sale on PC
Your butthurt has nothing to do with comfiness. Nintendo is an anti-customer company and I'd "steal" from them in a heartbeat if not for the fact that I wanna play online
>explicitly told my friend, who was interested in getting a switch, not to get one new and I'll help him find a like new condition hackable model
>Offered to get him all the shit required to hack it, set it all up and get him every game he could ever want
>He sends me a message saying "lol got a switch last week"
>New model from Amazon. Patched unit. Says he doesn't care. He only wants a handful of Nintendo games.
This is why piracy isn't a problem. Because it's only a small niche group interested in doing it. Normies don't really care.
which one of these is actually worth spending money on
but gray is boring
thanks guys
Im playing Shakedown Hawaii and American Fugitive. Im a sucker for GTA clones and Im glad to have those kind of games on the switch now
So I got that "The Way" game without much thinking because it was on such a huge discount I could get it with points alone. So far it seems like a pretentious story oriented fuckfest with slow-ass gameplay. Does it get fun later? Not sure if I feel like wasting my time to find out
Mostly stuff I already played over 10 years ago, lol.
Do your research next time. At least this lesson was a cheap one.
Another question about Octopath Traveler, how well does it run with a GTX960M ?
>inb4 gaming laptop
Just some Smash Quickplay, trying to find a secondary to my Mii Swordfighter main; having some fun and good results with Chrom but I'm also considering Pokemon Trainer
