All of my Engineering classes have been overwhelmingly minorities. Whites always make up a small portion every time and are themselves minorities in higher fields. Speaking about today's youth of course.

Asians contribute more than you think and whites contribute less than you think. Asian females (muslim girls, especially) actually appear more in higher fields and add to that population. Whites just go for a quick degree, or go into Trade work.

In this case, it doesn't matter that whites produced modern refrigeration first when others have proven to also have the capacity to understand and engineer such technology.
