How about you stop posting on reddit and you’ll realize no one tries to make excuses for pirating games any more, they just aren’t boot lockers like you and don’t care about stealing from scummy aaa shitheaps, it’s not like the developers make shit off the sales anyway, just publishers and shareholders. Anyway it’s not even always illegal, the double edged sword of selling a license and not just a physical copy you can do what you want with (the same facet that makes it so you can’t say, charge people to come watch a movie in your house) is that they can’t stop you from copying it for backups or emulating it, as long as you don’t distribute it or sell or rent it out.
