I don't understand the appeal of this game.
I finished it 5 times and platinumed it, the only thing that greatly interested me in it was the lore, great bosses and their soundtracks. Otherwise the entirety of the time I felt like it was a good setting wasted on a stupid ass studio that can only make R1 simulators. The game felt like wasted potential that could've been bigger and longer and deeper, it's state was very barebones. You have this hunter, he scours the entirety of the world and Yharnam genociding everything in their path and killing clerics, monstrosities, great ones, etc. But when he's not doing those things, he's walking around with his hands locked on his sides carrying his two weapons. Your character can literally be narrowed down to an R1 executor because you can't and don't interact with the world in any meaningful way. It's just a background and an arena for enemies that you kill.

Why does everyone hate on DS2? I played 1 and 2 and I remember DS2 running at 60fps vs the 30fps of DS1 on 360, I remember people complaining DS2 felt to fast, that's cause Dark Souls get easier as framerate increases something console fairies who worship Bloodborne will never understand
