I feel she didn't need to be created, why couldn't we have P5R without her. Why are so many people accepting her with open arms despite the possibility of her fucking everything up
I don't want a game I love to be ruined by a shitty self insert mary sue that has the whole game revolve solely around her.
I'm genuinely distressed over the devs decision to create a new party member when the original team felt like a genuine group of friends. Why couldn't they have expanded on the game without adding a new party member
Even if she turns out to be a good character, the fact that she'll forever now be a member of the Phantom Thieves makes me want to end it all
But what do you guys think, I wanna know if anyone else feels the same

I hate Marie and how she made P4G a worse game, so I feel you.
I'm a bit scared, but hopeful they learned from Golden.
Jayden Rivera
I unironically agree.
Hunter Thomas
At least you could mostly ignore Marie while Kasumi is going to be deeply ingrained into the plot. All the preview clips make her look like Poochie 2.0.

>when the original team felt like a genuine group of friends. In what fucking way? They never hang out together unless celebrating a win or investigating. I don't like P4 either but for god sake at least they spent more time together as a group that didn't revolve around them being persona wielders.

Kasumi's outfit doesn't look right. The others generally dressed from head to toe in clothing that would either hide their builds, be it through layers or bombastic colors, or at least help them be more sneaky. She's dressed in hardly anything, turned her coat into three big awkward ass capes, is a gymnast in huge heels, and her mask neither hides any part of her lower face nor hair. She even probably wears a similar leotard when doing gym stuff, so she's actually highly recognizable. It's not like her hair is similar to Makoto's "as common as common can be in Japan" look either.
Oliver Robinson
Retarded as it is, the costumes apparently don't matter and are just there for visual flair to represent their rebel soul or some shit. Meaning they technically don't even need the costumes because the shadow versions of their enemies will never be able to go "Hey my real self THOSE KIDS ARE FUCKING WITH YOU" >TL;DR Don't complain about the costumes they're meaningless
Chase Garcia
The others at least look like effort was put into creating their Phantom Thief personality. Kasumi badly lacks that flair and vibrancy. She looks like a way worse girl Joker.
Gabriel Gutierrez
Does it really matter though when Ann's costume is just literally "Red latex body suit" and nothing additonal?
Wyatt Peterson
That's at least more colorful. It's also a full leather suit with the zippers to draw attention and the mask tries to cover the top of her head more. Her haircut still stands out too much, but an attempt was made. It obscures something, is meant for sneaking, the heels are lower, and there's a cat burglar theme.
Everyone hates Marie, and Kasumi will probably be the same, especially if she's as intrusive as Marie was.
Joseph Rogers
what's her arcana
Ian Gomez
She looks bland as hell desu
You could tell what type of personality the other characters had based on their designs. Though I don't feel anything coming from Kasumi.

>when the original team felt like a genuine group of friends. I must disagree on you there. To me, P5 group felt like the Persona group with the least chemistry between them and the most formal one despite the game's efforts to push them as friends. Even P4, despite mostly being anime cliches, still felt more close than P5's group. I think most people are underestimating the additions of P5R, it seems to change a lot more stuff compared to the other Persona rereleases from story to dungeons so I think they'll make her fit. I hope so, anyway. The real funny thing to me is that they were so fast on making P5 spinoffs that they completely forgot about the character they'd add on the rerelease so she's completely out of P5D and PQ2.
>Why are so many people accepting her with open arms despite the possibility of her fucking everything up Weebs will eat any shit up as long as it's anime
Jaxon King
I'm pretty indifferent to both her and the consultant, I would rather have the characters that already exist to have stuff added to them, instead of making new characters
Justin Bailey
This is just the normal Atlus formula now for remakes/ports/etc.
imagine if Mishima and Hifumi were optional party members who you could get by completing certain events instead of a completely new character out of nowhere
Sebastian Perry
It's the FEMC fags I'm sure.
Christian Perez
>team felt like a genuine group of friends if you felt this way after yusuke onward, you'll swallow kasumi pretty easily
