Why the fuck is Oblivion such a fucking nightmare to mod?
Iv'e installed 183 fucking mods it's taken me a week and it's still not fucking done. I have to install a shitton of gameplay mods to unfuck Oblivions gameplay and make it more like Morrowind, and I have to make sure that they all work together properly, and every single goddamn time I have to run loot and rebuild the bashed patch. And not that i'm almost done i'm getting random fuck ups with the landscape textures and my water is fucked up and shuttering.
Morrowind was just drag and drop off a STEP guide. Why is this such a pain in the fucking ass.

id say forget about fine-tuning the modding, youll burn-out before you're happy with it (which will be never), just enjoy the game instead

Only mods worth installing for Oblivion are HD texture packs, water enhancer, foliage enhancer and that Oblivion character overhaul mod which tries really hard to get rid of the potato faces. Everything else is Otaku and gay.

I dunno bro. I just play it vanilla. You can't mod away the uninteresting and janky action game combat and the sooner you accept that the sooner you can enjoy the game for what it is instead of what you want it to be.
IMO the most fun is to roll an acrobat and 360 no scope people with bows during your ten second long jumps. It's still piss easy to just backpedal and kite single enemies, but it's legimately fun to take on 5+ spellcasters and dodge their spells in mid-air while sniping them.

The vast majority of that are texture and mesh replacers.
Also I want to use Supreme magicka so I can use levitation and the crazy jump spells.

I just don't have the patience for it anymore; there's too much I need to download. When I was a teenager I could happily spend hours downloading dumb mods just to play the game for 10 minutes, jack off, then uninstall the game. But now there are so many new mods since then, and, like you say, Morrowind has far fewer essential mods. I tried playing vanilla Oblivion recently and was bored out of my mind, but I'm not prepared to waste an eternity modding it like in the old days. So within an hour I was back to Morrowind.

The worse part is that there only few Top/Straight manly mod's. Majority of mods are for gays, that play with female characters and lowkey want to be raped by Redguards and monsters. Why WE can't rape the monsters?

I'd say there are only 5 or so essentials for oblivion, oscuro's and it's addons, unique landscapes comp, qarl's texture pack, and oblivion reloaded, also morrowind has way more good mods, oblivion mods are 90% shit
