Guy only watched the first episode of the anime, which glosses over a ton. He's basing it off of American law too, whereas Ace Attorney is a heavily dramatized and exaggerated version of the Japanese legal system.

Yeah the circus one is terrible. I really enjoy the Magatama sections they introduce to the series. Especially how they depict Phoenix being aggressive and assertive as he drills into the secrets they try to hide.

Real law sucks. It's mostly about citing precedent and then trying to cling to any chance to derail the opposition.

Kristoph was the best villain in the whole franchise. The fact that he gets done in the end despite not technically having enough evidence against him to prove his guilt just makes it better, everything about the final case fucks with his perception of a clean, decisive meaning of "law". The fact that he loses in a way that's kinda bullshit but everyone else goes with it just fits so well, literally nothing could piss him off more.
Cherry on the cake being that the Jurist system is scrapped immediately afterwards. Imagine how much he seethed when he found that out too.

Was AJ: Case 1-1 as amazing as I think? Punished Phoenix was everything I wish he normally was after years of experience being serious, smart, goofy but very driven. I remember the case having twist after twist and it being actually abit difficult for a first case in terms for how everything in it going down.
