Tomb Raider. They used an entirely different woman who also happened to be named Lara Croft.
What type of shit DC did this time?
Fuck Batman
Is doomsday clock finished yet? Did they bring back the pre-flashpoint canon yet too?
Fuck, it's been so long since I've kept up with DC. Last time I tried was DC Rebirth. I really want to get back into my favorite fictional universe but fuck, everything seems like it went to shit awhile ago.
That was a straight up reboot, not that it makes it any good.
They did a combined universe thing where Dr Manhattan is an evil God for some raeson.
No, it got delayed again. And, yes but not in the way you might think
>Hey Alan Moore look, we're shitting all over Watchmen. What are you gonna do about it?
>Alan Moore: Fuck you guys
>We'll scrap it if you write literally anything for us ;)
>Alan Moore: Eh, nah, go ahead
Zero Time Dilemma
Metal Gear Solid V
It's bullshit.
Mgsv is a spin-off like pw
What are you talking about? It's part of the main series. The whole Venom Snake bullshit is canon now.
I've never played any of the Metal Gear games.
Is it anything like this video? youtube.com
If so I might give them a look.
PW is not spin off
Moore wouldn't talk to DC anymore (maybe except for Jim Lee).
>Zero Kyle Dilemma
ftfy :-)
Games generally speaking don't do retcons. They do reboots, but reboots are kind of always implied to be their own continuity that has no contact with the older version.
I guess the biggest example would be something like Kingdom Hearts, which had a relatively straightforward story at the start but the spinoff games kept adding so much bullshit to it that it became incomprehensible.
Not quite. Metal Gear Rising was made by Platinum Games and is a little more over the top.
Metal Gear Solid is political by nature but it's more subtle and delves more into secret societies (the Patriots, etc)
based Moore

That's japanese games in general, I've noticed.. after a few games the stories become to convoluted with bullshit that it just doesn't make sense.
I heard someone say they value twists over a coherent story in order to make people surprised, then they write themselves into a corner.. it seems to be true.
WoW vanilla/tbc.
And WC3 reforged will probably ruin shit as well.
