Someone really should go through the code of YandereSim piece by piece and explain why almost everything about it is wrong in a longform video essay. Looking at these snippets is fascinating/horrifying/hilarious as someone with a programming background, but to amateur programmers or normalfags it's probably hard to see the myriad issues.

As to all the people saying, "He should stop whining and actually finish his game", these code snippets should tell you why "finishing the game" is basically impossible. It's so difficult to actually add and test new features when your codebase is this horrible. He'd have to rewrite nearly everything from the ground up. It would probably take a year just to refactor the existing codebase into something that you could build on. But Eva isn't going to do that. He's too stubborn and more to the point lazy. He wants this game to succeed the way it is now because of his misplaced pride so he can rub his sub-par methods in the face of someone who doesn't even care about him. Eva is worse than a brainlet who can't code, he's a brainlet who doesn't even want to learn how to code.
