I have been playing from to time for the past 10 years and I can tell it's fucking obnoxiously shitty right now due to community being absolutely toxic and generally Riot designers are absolutely retarded. There used to be a few employees that actually tried to hold the door of overpowered shit and generally unfun mechanics as tons of healing and overloaded kits in champions, but right now it's no more, nearly every rework gives the champion self-sustain, cc, a lot of dmg, dashes, additional mechanics. Akali, Aatrox, Irelia, Sylas are good examples of this shit happening. They are nerfed to the point in solo queue they are super low win ratio already (like 45% or less), but they are still relevant for the pro play as their kit is simply overloaded. They keep doing this for over a year already and they don't learn a fucking shit out of their mistakes. Toxic community can easily be fixed by muting all players at the start of the game + playing with friends, but the problem with friends is that they are hard to find (at least the ones to have fun with).

The game could be much more better place if not these 2 things - balance and the most toxic community of all.

If you live in Eastern Europe uninstall immediately and download Dota. Its a better game.

If you live in Western Europe or North America, stick with league. Dota queues will take forever (im talking double or more) and the servers are really bad.

The reward system in this game sucks:
Want a skin? No problem. Just get an s rank with a champion you own (once a week, not with the same hero more than once ). Ok, you got an S, here's your chest. Now you need a key. No problem, just get enough honor to get THREE key fragments. Now open your chest and get your skin. You got orange essence or a ward instead of a skin? Too bad! Now do that all over again.

Ok, you got your skin now. You want to use it? Too bad. You need enough orange essence. Get it by destroying other skins or from wards. Know that the average unlock cost is 1000, while each destroyed skin/ward/chest gives you around 150 oe.
