I'm bored and would like a game to divert my attention a little until a big release comes out. This one goes for 30 CAD on Amazon. Will I get a chuckle and some interesting game play for that price?

It's okay. Gets pretty repetitive pretty quickly until you unlock the better traps. The real fun is setting up traps and timing them just right for that huge combo points for maximum stylish kill. Stages are pretty well thought out and stage traps somewhat onset the repetitiveness of the game. Has some replayability since it has different endings. It also has nightmare route iirc. Which is basically extra characters and stages with set abilities.

I have been extremely interested in this but never bit the bullet. Would appreciate if someone chimes in.

Is getting it worth it or is blood ties good enough? The latter is a lot cheaper.

So why is it rated M.

Darkside Princess includes Blood Ties in its entirety. No reason to get that version.

It is also double the price, which is why I'm asking.

It's alright, but the demands become pretty crazy, pretty fast. It's still better than the default version. In the default version you had to set up perfect combos, with specific traps, just to unlock traps that do real damage. By that point, there's no need for high damage traps, because you are already a pro.

Because you are gruesomely killing church members, as the daughter of the Devil.

If price is a big issue for you, then sure? It's missing a bunch of content, but if you just want to play a Deception game, you can't go wrong with it.

Nightmare princess has extra features like deception studio where you create your own characters, enemies and missions stages. It also introduces a new playable character the red woman on the pic with her own storyline. Basically an expansion of the first game.

It's M because there's lewd traps included in it like the wooden horse and the iron maiden plus humiliating traps. You also strip enemies of their armor/dresses when you hit their weakpoints.

I'm a huge fan of the Tecmo's Deception series, and strongly recommend it. If you're just looking for a time-waster, you could always play one of the earlier games. Deception 3 (called Trapt in the west) is a great game too that you can emulate for free.

They really tried to market Nightmare Princess to otaku a little too much for my taste. They made it a little goofy and anime, which contrasts with the darker themes of the originals. Still highly recommend it, and if you're a creative person, you can have a lot of fun with it.

Picked the fuck up. I didn't realize such a kino game existed. Never seen such an amazing game in which you place traps like this either.

The whole series is kino. You always play the villain and have face off against innocent people or heroes, and whenever they enter your domain, you can see their biographies and stuff. It's total kino.

Thanks lad

I think my dick has made its decision

I just wish that it actually was an expansion. Don't want to pay double for a game I might not like, but having it be really good and making me have to pay full price to get the upgrade would suck as well.

The only reason to get Blood Ties is for its trophies; even though Nightmare Princess comes with everything, all its trophies are tied to the new features.

>all those generic anime girls and lines
What the hell is this? I've never heard of it.

Those are two different games.

Unfortunately it died a long time ago. It's the only game in the series I've yet to play.

Yes.
