Sneed

>I get matched with people approximately as good as me
>wtf why do we both have a similar rate of winning

>I get matched with people worse than me
>lose anyway because of afkers/throwers

That's called matchmaking you moron.
If you're matched against people of equal skill, your winrate is going to be about exactly 50%. That's the whole point.

>doing really well and ranking up
>join game
>look at enemy winrates averages
>they're at 75%, we're at 48%
>there's somebody with a 10% winrate on my team

>Equal skill

It's artificial 50% win rate.

>win a lot of matches in a row
>after the 5th win look up the player's profile I'm matched with
>they are obviously worse than me, in fatc they are worse than my previous teammates
>instead of being matched against better enemies the matchmaking puts worse and worse players next to you because you "should be able to carry"

nice game riot.

>Win a match
>Uh-oh! user's win rate hit 50.017%!
>Better match him up with a team of retards and/or opponents miles above his skill level to fix that!
>Ah, there we go, back to the optimal microtransaction purchasing win percentage as derived by our team of gaming psychologists. All is well!

>This is preferable to a server browser somehow

>Play ranked
>Can't get out of silver
>every other game has a 100% winrate smurf in it
>play normals
>play against diamonds and win

Squad based games are horseshit.

Tell me, faggot, what do you expect your winrate to be other than 50%? Over a long period of time, using fair and honest matchmaking?

It's always going to be 50 you absolute brainlet.

i miss having servers or just being able to play with friends/small group
sure there would be that one guy thats way better than everyone but you werent 100% hopeless all the time

sneed

>Meanwhile there's people with 75-100% winrates

Riot's system is broken as fuck, thank God I never bothered with climbing. I shit you not after 5 wins in a row you'll definitely get at least 2 absolute trash players for the next 3 matches.

Sounds like you just don't realize how shitty you are at the game yourself.

I got permabanned because I was on such a hot winstreak that riot put me on a team with two chinks with 2000 ping.

Completely impossible unless they have somebody throw for them.

If your average competitive match is more than 20 minutes your game is trash.

>fair and honest matchmaking

Name one game that has this. Every game with matchmaking I've played has alternated between stomping and getting stomped because the game needs to be sure I won't go on a streak of either wins or losses.

>meanwhile you're a retard
almost always smurfs, the game is low population, or outright trash.

>Completely impossible
Oh so I guess I'm lying then, thanks for letting me know I didn't waste two months playing masters+ smurfs with 25 games a day in my promos

That's what you get for playing team based garbage esport trash.

upvoted xD

Welcome to modern matchmaking, how new are you?

>multiplayer team vs team game
>people play solo queue

This is your problem boy. Solo queue is fine for pure practice not climbing. Get some reliable people to form a team and play together. Who knows maybe u will become pro one day.

I think Siege implemented something like this. I solo-queued to diamond every season up until Hibana and Echo came out. I took a break and quit because the netcode was frustrating me, came back after Operation Health and now I can't get out of gold despite dropping double-digit frags every single game. Seems like the enemy team is ALWAYS premade, yet my teammates can barely find their mouse when the match starts.

If that was the case then the matches would be very close and balanced.

but forced 50/50 means your team either clubs or gets clubbed, there is no equal skill going on.

stop seething zoomer, I might be not some super gaming god, but you can definitely notice patters, especially when these happen in LoL way too often. If you win a lot in a row the game pairs you with people who are crap at the game, because the system thinks you should be able to carry them. This leads into raging and tilting, and ulitmately I leave the game with a positive score. I'm not a complete cucklet who is going to be in a 40 min game to beg a 20 something autismo to go from point A to B or pray he doesn't get caught while he runs around in circles in mid lane.
These people you are deal with are not mediocre players mind you, but these people are legit scum, even if they are skilled they'll do everything just to make your half hour miserable as possible. I have no interest in improving in a game where my reward is to carry a heavier burden, which is not even mine.
Thank God I was smart enough to quit this shitfest.

Assuming you're talking about a 5v5 team game each game has 10 players in it.
How the actual FUCK is this "mandatory 50% winrate" system supposed to screw over your personal winrate without overly boosting or degrading someone else's? You are literally 1/10th of that game.
If the matchmaking is somehow putting "worse and worse" players next to you intentionally then isn't it putting those "worse" players against "better and better" players on the enemy team? And since you're so good and they're all around equally as bad then the matchmaking is also putting "better and better"(relatively) players on their team as well.

How the fuck can the matchmaking consistently do this? Do you think the matchmaking system revolves around you and you alone and only cares about giving YOU teammates as if you're the centre of the universe?

>Server browser positives:
>Join a persistent room with players that share your interest and have roughly the same skill level
>If you're getting better, it'll clearly reflect in better scores
>Seeing the same people over and over allows conversation and friendships to organically form
>Server's strongest players provide both someone to learn from and a target to defeat
>Mods and custom maps

>Server browser negatives:
>Little Billy picked the first server he saw, got slaughtered by the best player, got mad and quit the game without buying any skins or 2x EXP vouchers

>Entire industry moves to matchmaking over the course of just a couple of years

>smart enough

>over 30 still on Yea Forums

>fighting with zoomers

>lacking sex

make white babies

have sex

It's called MMR.

Blizzard loves this shit.
Few seasons ago i reached Leggend with a miracle rogue. It was still viable at the time, but off the meta so people didn't run counterplays.
A bud of mine is a brainlet and was stuck at rank 17-18, so i made a 1:1 copy of my miracle and started playing with his.
I had a perfectly balanced 50% win ratio after two dozens of matches because every other match was a perfect counter or ideal draw.

If you're above your league in skill, you should be able to carry, and you'll get higher LP for winning and lower losses for losing.
