To be honest with as many GB characters as there are, putting in non-GB would end up just making someone mad.

But the RoB characters tend to be pretty popular, they've been pretty happily adopted in.

Some characters like Yuel are literally considered like GBF characters and are here since the first year.

XSeed is only going to be about bringing the physical copies to the west and setting up and executing on certain marketing in stores and events in the West. Jeanne is one of the most popular gbf characters, and she was originally in RoB.

Albert is one of the most popular Cygames male, and he was in RoB.

I'm pretty sure more people would be upset at the lack of Jeanne/Albert, then if they got in. Hell, Albert is probably one of the most well known Cygames character in the west due to his appearance in RoB, Shadowverse (where he was broken), GBF, and Dragalia Lost.

I mean it depends, they kind of have a breadth of stuff you could be into within the gacha/mobile resume. GBF is just traditional turnbased 2D RPG based on team and weapon loadout customization, tons of grind to perfect squads that can do the most amount of damage possible in a single turn. Dragalia Lost brings in a 3D aspect with higher production in some areas and more action based combat. Shadowverse is a pretty good anime card game from what I've been told

Orchid seems prime for dlc. Honestly my dlc guesses are like Sandy, Siete, Orchid, Siegfried, and who ever else very noteworthy that didn’t get in the base roster. Orchid chances do tie in with BK as well. If BK is in the game she’s 100% first wave dlc, if not probably down the line. The two are pretty interlocked with each other in terms of their stories and characters.

Well DBFZ and T7 did well. But you also have to question how many fighters try to expand their reach that far? Most are games made on a small budget, isn't uncommon not to see simultaneous global releases. There aren't that many fighters with a large budget and ad campaign. But out of the ones that do Capcom games have been the only real recent failure.

Capcom is a two point failure. One on Capcom's side, the other being that journalists are fucking retards that don't play fighting games. Instead of actually complaining about the real problems SFV had they whined about no story and no arcade instead of the actual mechanical issues plaguing the game and the netcode.
Beyond that though DBFZ is the most normie action shonen franchise around and has almost 30 years of reach, but the game died in its first year from a competitive and player retention standpoint. Tekken is also well established, but also has no competition in its space anymore, and didn't completely fuck up like Capcom did with SFV and MvCI.
Based on who CyGames is working with they're looking at establishing a foothold in the competitive scene first. TOs and teams were getting the codes and sponsorships instead of internet personalities like Max. Only Shadowverse personalities got them outside of that, but they're already in CyGames wheelhouse.

Someone mentioned a while back that this French anime/tv reviewer (who barely touches games I think) was doing a paid promotion for it. And before the beta they weren't even paying FGC people. The marketing is likely to ramp up more in that direction over time. Getting normies signing up for a closed beta this early is a bit of a lost cause, but slowly increasing the ad presence in spaces they do care about has an effect.

Tekken hasn't always done well though, T6 and TT2 did worse than T7. That isn't really down to brand or quality of the products. There are a lot of factors that go into it, and every series is new at some point. Plus you have weird knock on effects like GBV being the next game by "those guys that made that good looking dragon ball game." The games with a huge brand often succeed because of huge ad budgets plus good timing. Which isn't something most devs can manage, at best they luck out on the second.

Do story and normal/hard versions of the omega raids until you unlock the actual Omega versions of the raids and then start working on grids. You should probably just find a crew to join just for the strike time and ship upgrade benefits, but if you aren't sure if you're going to stick with it making your own crew is fine.

Legfest solely involves story characters. Even Summer Zooey is Flashfest now.

I don't think there's a way to search for crews based on that, but I haven't really looked since I just made one for myself. I think your best bet for that is joining a discord or something and asking around.

Why would you make that your wishlist? Percival, Metera, Vas, and Zeta are confirmed for the game. Their weapons are part of the logo 10.

Its a 16 person template where there are already 7 characters revealed with trailers/gameplay. So instead of just putting a bunch of characters that would never get in, I just turned into something I would be believe to realistically fill the rest of the roster
