He just said the dlc characters in ultimate will be new to smash and unexpected. It's just pr buzzwords for "we're not doing veteran dlc" which doesn't mean a whole lot.

Though I'm not really expecting more characters from already repped Nintendo franchises myself it's not off the table

>Leon Kennedy (Nintendo relation, recent release, Capcom is already on board making it easy and they've yet to go without an inclusion in a base game or dlc cycle since joining Smash.)

it may very well be that people got info confused and there is a remake/Threeie at E3 with nothing to do with Smash

Why is Yea Forums is persistent on Erdrick being in Smash when there has literally been nothing for him except for leaks that were proven fake.

You guys have the reading comprehension of a toddler. VR Plant leaker never said he knew Banjo or Erdrick were in. That was just him speculating. Don't be spreading misinformation. Same shit with Vergeben saying Steve was in. He never said he was, he just mentioned Minecraft content of some kind.

Erdrick is as much of a title as "The Prince of Midenhall" which is the name of the DQ2 hero, if DQ12 shows up with another Prince of Midenhall, it changes nothing, the name still refers to one character in specific.

With how Joker worked, wouldn't it be weird for Minecraft to be without a specific fighter? If it's Banjo he'll get a banjo stage and banjo music, but I don't see how Minecraft would be involved unless he was only a costume

There are theories that he might have confused Rathalos' name with Minecraft's Ender Dragon. But yeah, I do find it weird that we'd get Minecraft content without a character, but hey you never know with Nintendo.
